Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

There was a problem with the sockets in our room, and we checked in late at night after a 6 hour drive from London, we were very happy with the response from the staff who attempted to resolve the issue and when this was not possible, they moved us to another room.

United KingdomThe location is above busy night life and would be great for party goers or someone who is celebrating, but not so great for relaxation as there is live singing and music on until very late. However I understand this can’t be help and is no fault of the hotel it’s self.

United Kingdom- Keypad on the door made us a little worried about how often the key code is changed between guests - Sofas in the room were very worn and rickety, sank right into them when sitting on them. - The rooms could do with a little bit of modernising but it was comfortable enough. The reception and communal areas are really modern in contrast. - The cocktail bar was advertised but wasn’t open while we were staying at the hotel. - The security deposit took us aback a little (£50 per adult pre-authorised by credit card which is only taken if there is damage / significant soiling to the room). We’ve never encountered this before but it is what it is, I suppose. We took extra care in the room…especially with an inquisitive 4 year old! - Unsure how quiet the hotel might be in peak season / Friday & Saturdays (we stayed on a Sunday) as i could imagine it being geared towards stag & hen parties / large social groups etc.
- large room (deluxe studio for a family of 4 which was a perfect size) - room was very clean, plenty of bedding and towels - Communal hotel areas of the hotel were clean - jacuzzi bath -Excellent location for city centre shopping and Christmas markets - a lift to all floors - reception staff friendly - Nearby multi story car park (Victoria Street) - TV had satellite and streaming channels - Original fixtures of the old building were a nice touch - Great big mirrors in the room - We had a very settled and quiet nights sleep without any disturbance from surrounding rooms or outside (we requested a room facing the quieter Stanley Street which was accommodated) - Reception staff were very responsive via the Booking.com messaging service and we also received a very welcoming text message from Dani the day before our stay.

The location was great in the heart of Matthew Street. The Property was unusual but nice. Quilted material on the walls, dark paint and our room had two (2) showers and a big spa bath.
