Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe spa receptionist was so unhelpful - first time there and if she had just showed us what to do to access pool etc it would’ve made things so much easier. Instead we just had to keep going back every few mins asking where is the pool? Then how to do we access it? ‘Oh you need a different pass’ - etc etc. it was painful!!

United KingdomReally disappointed with the spa.Tiny spa pool, full of children with pool noodles, no hot tub. Breakfast was disappointing too, small selection of cooked breakfast in the buffet, small amount of fruit and pastries. The price is probably in line with other hotels but it really wasn't worth it.

United KingdomRestaurant very mediocre - poor choice of dinner options and overpriced food. Very good wine though. Breakfast expensive for a very basic “travel lodge” buffet. No plug sockets near bed in room. Room upstairs with no lift - poor accessibility.

United KingdomHotel is too expensive for what you actually get, the food in the restaurant was harvester quality ….. very average and not fresh, but expensive. The drinks were very expensive, but we didn’t even get ice. The staff clearly were not very enthusiastic or attentive, the whole place gives the outward impression of being worth the extra money, but in reality it’s clearly about cost cutting.
