Crispy bacon, snack machine. We travelled all day hoping to get food in the pub. Due to 2 road closures we arrived late, jumped in a taxi went to coop arena where by the food sold out. When we arrived back to the room everything was shut.

Breakfast was lovely, apart from the bacon, like mine crispy.

Coffee with breakfast was from machine, so not as nice as the one we paid for on arrival at the bar, but totally understand there would be no way to supply coffee on order to so many people. As expected in most places.

Did book in advance, aware of multiple local events so was more than would normally pay. Arrived early and after a quick coffee our room was ready. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived back from our concert just in time for last orders, think we were last to leave the bar. Again, staff very friendly and politely reminded us of drinking up time. Lots of parking, no problem getting a table for breakfast, good selection, a!though I just had yoghurt and toast. Staff busy restocking and clearing tables. Overall, would stay again, very good location for motorway connections.

Very convenient and easy to find from the motorway. Easy walk to MetroLink for quick and cheap access to Manchester City centre. Pleasant staff

The building, fittings and decor are quite generic in the accomodation section.

Property was easy to find and check in was simple through the friendly staff. We called taxis through reception which was quick and correctly done.. taxis arrived within ten minutes. Room was large and comfortable, the bathroom clean and the shower very good. More free drinks in the room than usual which is always appreciated

Very clean and modern design. Near motorway so good location. Breakfast was great served hot which isn’t always the case for buffet breakfast. I was able to check in early which was most helpful.

The gas supply going off in the kitchen didn't help on our last night. But still managed to eat the carvery, which was very good I add.

Well located for Manchester city centre for Saturday night concert @ Co-Op Live. Lovely walk along canal Sunday morning before breakfast - breakfast was great, loved the eggs!

The pub/restaurant was in a separate building to the accommodation building and there was no covered access between the two, meaning that you had to have waterproof clothing to go from one to the other if the weather was inclement. Complimentary tea/coffee etc was on the miserly side. Breakfast was totally self service from a heated buffet. As breakfast was served from 7am to 11am on weekdays, some of the food had been lying around for a while, especially on quieter mornings. The bacon and eggs especially could have been better, and the breakfast would have definitely been better if freshly cooked to order, and a fish option offered. The bar menu for other meals was OK, and I had an evening meal one evening, where the service was reasonable. but there was confusion over the bill (all sorted in the end).

Good budget accommodation. Good sized room with plenty of seating. Comfortable bed, and good clean room and en-suite room with a bathtub, and shower over (my preference). Everything was working OK. Housekeeping was good, and the room refreshed every day. Breakfast quality was reasonable. All the staff I came across were helpful and generally cheerful. Plenty of free parking, and priced reasonably. My special requests for a ground floor room were met. Overall, a very positive experience.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean tidy. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was so nice and water was a good temperature. Breakfast was amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Well done, the Boat and Horses!

Breakfast was served from a buffet but attentive staff ensured it was well stocked. The location was ideal for my visit to relatives’ wedding in Oldham as it was moments from junction 21 on the M60. Good outdoor seating area overlooking Rochdale canal.

It was a very pleasant stay ,highly recommended, and it was right next to Costco, so we rejoined .The staff are very pleasant, very clean, and tidy will definitely stop again and try there other hotels
