As mentioned before- the place needs renovation. It’s visibly old and used. Also I had room with windows facing the street which was pretty noisy.

The staff was very pleasant and the room itself rather clean but it definitely needs renovation. Good location next to the beach.

Mine and partners room had 2 single beds I am sure I asked for a double but apparently not

The duvet was excellent, in fact too good, for a hot night. Just an idea, perhaps a light weight duvet or even just a bed sheet, giving option.

An exceptionally warm night. The cooler fan was a great help. Most helpful which I asked for, was the provision of a couple of trays, to eat our food from in the room. Thank you!!

The desk staff were very friendly and helpful, they made sure we knew exactly where we could park and for how long in the (busy) local area. They explained all that was going on on site during our stay too. Although we were in a corner room we still had a sea view too.

No food service on a Tuesday evening was the only small criticism I can give about my stay at the Gather Inn.

Breakfast is not available at the Gather Inn, there are several cafe across the road available for breakfast. Lovely room with a balcony which over look a lake with water sports then the beach and a sea view.

There wasn't any breakfast, so why suggest that as an answer. Could do with more handrails around the corner posts.

The bathroom was perfectly adequate, but very small. The supply of milk for tea/coffee could have been more generous, and some biscuits would have been most welcome (we did ask and were given some). A bedside table on only one side of the bed; another one would have been appreciated.

Clean and tidy room. Huge, comfortable bed. Hot shower. As our room was at the top of the house, there was a nice view of the lagoon and sea beyond. It meant there was a steep climb up three flights of stairs, and while that could be a problem for those with mobility issues, we were ok with that. Also, being an attic room, there were low, angled ceilings. It wasn’t a problem - and we are both tall - we felt it added to the character of the room. Great that there’s free parking (within certain times) Good location for Brighton and Hove Greyhound racing and for a brisk walk into Brighton along the promenade. No breakfast provided, but a choice of two excellent cafes directly opposite.

We were told it was a sea facing room but it was actually a loft room with the velux window that was part sea-facing. No lifts!

The location was great! By the sea! ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ just across the road was brilliant.

Another bedside table wouldn’t go amiss in room 19.

The staff were the best feature here, really engaging. Cosy pub with good views of the lagoon, a great range of drinks, friendly vibe, and an interesting Caribbean menu which was a bit different - my partner really rated the chicken burger. Free parking welcome and value for money. Would stay again.

Unfortunately the water was not working properly so we couldn't shower. However having spoken to the manager this was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Parking hit and miss, and no on site breakfast but was aware of this beforehand

Pity no breakfast but great cafe opposite, great location for us anyway, parking if your lucky and all the staff were brilliant would go back again 😀
