Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

A very central location Inc close proximity to bus station and beach. Very tidy apartment that met our needs as a family. Host answered a query we had about hot water v quickly.

Property was fine but bedroom was just too warm , a fan was provided but still really warm . Would be nice if milk and some supply’s left no sugar but there was teabags no dish cloth to wipe down are a brush to clean up the floor apart from that it was an ok stay , the restaurant beside the stay is owned by the same people food was beautiful but a discount would be a grt incentive . Only bad thing is the 3 flights of stairs killer lol

Very clean and stylish apartment. Just right for a short stay. There was clear communication prior to our arrival so checking in was a breeze. They also looked after our bags for us after check out so that we could go for a long walk.

United StatesI would definitely have enough towels one per day per person on premises at check in. A larger kitchen bin is a must. Not awful but needs new mattress and pillows. I would also have loved air conditioning but made do with open windows which at times was loud in the late evening.
Great location! Liked having the kitchenette w/ dining table. Quick walk to the beach and right on the main strip.

United KingdomBathroom door didn't lock, 2 flights of stairs 😂 needed an extra room for having 2 pre teens with us 😂 definitely book the bigger apartment. Bathroom was very small but didn't realise until after that we booked the smaller apartment.
The location, the comfortable beds, spacious apartment, cleanliness, provided water for the fridge, got towels and toilet roll easy enough.
