The breakfast wasn't wonderful. It was average but not really value for money as it was £15 on the room rate.

The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Nice touches such as slippers, robes nice toiletries and a good location.

Showers were a dribble and made having a shower impossible. Rooms tired but clean. Air conditioning unit worked but didn’t blow any cold air. Breakfast was booked for 8.00am and is along with 3 other couples had to wait until 8.25am as the staff hadn’t set up the breakfast room. Breakfast choice was ok but they didn’t restock quickly so had to wait for eggs, bacon and fresh bread for toast.

Excellent city centre location with offsite car parking 5 minutes away in an NCP car park.

Our room wasn't serviced even though we put a sign outside and asked at reception we were missing teas /coffees towels after our long day out and our phone wouldn't work plus couldn't get channels on our TV even after maintenance came up. However we will return as I know these issues can all be rectified .

Front of house staff exceptional especialy one who stood out maybe Emma or Emily dark haired with few tattoos sorry i cant remember her name so trying to describe her she went above and beyond. Its a . great location In the centre and very accessible nice rooms lovely hotel .

Great location practically under the famous clock. Just off main shopping street but very quiet at night ( we stayed Thurs to Friday) Good selection of bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Short walk to the river. Really nice hotel with a clean and comfortable room.

the lift is exceptionally small so difficult to access if you had a wheelchair, the bar had run out of wine and prosecco when we arrived back to the hotel after dinner out when we wanted to have a drink at the bar.

Great location, really generous sized rooms and bathroom. Clean rooms, and areas

If you are a light sleeper and your room is at the front of the hotel you can hear people of an evening but this didn’t bother us personally

We have stayed in this hotel before and it never disappoints. It’s not the most modern hotel but it’s very clean and well kept. The location of the hotel is perfect

Saturday breakfast. Asked to book time No table ready No glasses for fruit juice. No plates for hot food. No eggs bacon or sausages. Cold plates then bought out. 2 had to then wait for eggs etc to be bought out. Saturday night no air con. Hotel very hot. Told reception in the morning and they just said all on one circuit and someone must have turned off so all other rooms won’t work. No apology. Why not take individual switches out of room.

In town centre close to everything

Superb location in the centre of Chester. Friendly helpful staff, they stored our cases before and after our stay. Lovely and clean. Plenty of toiletries and, tea coffee, plus iron .
