A comfortable room in the heart of Frome. Very comfy bed, extremely clean and a great shower!

A lovely place in a great location. The room is very cozy and comfortable, as well as being very cute. It has available an eletric kettle, tea, coffee and milk every morning. Down stairs of the there is a bar and a bistrot, that are really nice! The guest is very friendly and corteous. We loved staying there.

My room was on the same side as a Pub and that got noisy as weather was good & people were drinking outside the Pub .

Very friendly and welcoming staff, room very comfortable & clean. I ate in the Bistro 1 night and the food was delicious …. It’s in a great location right at the top of Catherine Hill in Frome.

Stairs. Room was on top floor 3 flights up. Flat screen TV too small for the room. We are asked if we wanted the room to be serviced, for the price this should be a given. Bed was made and bin emptied (no need for either) but the towels weren't changed even though we left them on the floor (usual signal to change them).

Breakfast menu was a little limited. Booking.com suggested that the breakfast was £9.75 fixed price extra. It wasn't and B.c need to sort out their website.

Work going on outside the room ,ladders down to loft which we had to walk under when leaving room on departure,no bacon and egg available at breakfast

Parking for cars is on a first come first serve basis. I was lucky the first night but not so the second. Had to park on the road (not a problem) but the space was for permit holders and car had to be moved by 9am .

Early confusion over booking was annoying.

We had the most positive help from the bar man at the Bistro, who tried to sort out which room we were to have. There was some confusion about our booking, and the first room had not been cleaned, so he arranged for another room which was perfect. He was calm, helpful, and courteous, despite having to leave the busy bar to sort us out - a real star. Breakfast was good, bed superb.

The breakfasts were delicious and it was lovely and relaxing just to walk downstairs into the welcoming bistro. The staff were very friendly both at breakfast and in the evening. We had a very good dinner at Bistro Lotte and would definitely recommend both the restaurant and the accommodation .We had a great weekend and came home feeling very relaxed.

Lack of toilet brush in bathroom. Breakfast started relatively late (9am), especially for people traveling with young families.

Breakfast was very good although it would have been nice to have one or two more cooked options to set you up for the day. Very clean bathroom and nice, soft sheets.

Difficult to find anywhere to park - we did eventually get a place but then were reluctant to go out in our car because we’d lose it. But I appreciate it’s a problem with Frome in general, not just at Bistro Lotte. Stairs to the room are steep - but I appreciate there’s not much can be done about that.

Very comfortable room. Big, very comfortable bed. Real coffee in the bedroom. Shower very good. Shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand wash and hand sanitiser in the bathroom were all really gorgeous. Lovely, lovely restaurant with fabulous food and a genuine “French” feeling, which was very nice. Very friendly staff.

Nothing not to like really.. If I was being super picky, I think the room would have benefitted from a couple of prints on the walls to complement the overall look, and maybe a box of tissues would have been nice in the bedroom.

Very central location, wonderful comfy bed and excellent shower. Nice touch to have fresh milk in the room. The room was above the restaurant but very quiet. Food in the restaurant was excellent so I would recommend eating there. They also have a few parking spots up the road, which was an added bonus.

WiFi provision was very poor. None of us could connect. The room guide led us to expect this difficulty, but these days it should be better, we thought. Booking.com's room description is inaccurate. We spoke to the owner direct about this.

Breakfast options were ideal and the quality of both food and drinks was excellent. Our room (family room) was spacious and very comfortable. Beds and bed linen good quality. Bathroom facilities very good. Great shower, toiletries, generous-size towels, instant hot water. The bistro was exceptional.

The only problem we had was the parking as this is a bit limited.

We loved Bistro Lotte. The room was spotless the bed lovely and snuggly. The food was fabulous we ate at Bistro Lotte on the first evening and my husband said he had the best steak he has ever eaten.The hotel itself is only a stones throw from the centre of Frome just at the top of St Catherine’s Hill where you walk down into the gorgeous town.
