Dishwasher out of order. Paintwork throughout building needs a refresh - some damp patches and peeling paint.

Shower, as reported in other reviews, went cold after four or five minutes. Cream coloured carpet sadly isn't ideal for this sort of place and had numerous stains on.

Got a newborn baby so we wanted somewhere with a few bedrooms and living space so that we could spread out to look after him whilst allowing the other person to sleep - and not annoying other guests. The well appointed Chaworth suite here was ideal for this, and thanks to the staff for providing a cot as requested. This was our first trip away from home with the newborn to visit family. Easy instructions received for self check in and departure. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike as we only stayed one night.

Everything was explained in an email including numbers for the entry doors and flats. Very clean, and the items there that they specified. Good shower and bathroom and beds comfortable. Next time we are in the area it would be nice to stay a little longer.

There was a small patch of damp on one wall in the bedroom. Obviously a long-standing problem as it clearly wasn't new. It is an old building. Not much of an issue in the summer but might be worse in the winter months. The dishwasher wasn't working. Couple of places where the walls just need a repaint.

Beautiful old building that's been converted into apartments. Great location, right in the park, but quiet at night, reserved parking space right outside, and easy to get to everything in Nottingham. We stayed in the 'Holmes' suite. It's massive! Superbly spacious. Lovely rolltop bath in the main bathroom and a separate ensuite shower off the main bedroom. Kitchen was fully kitted out and there were some supplies left so we could make a cuppa on arrival. The main bed was comfy and clean and no complaints from my son and his friends in the triple room. Would definitely stay here again.

The bed was the only let down, it was a small double yet the room could accommodation either a Queen or king and the mattress was a little lumpy and old.

The location with beautiful park views (you are right in the park) made this an amazing stay. The apartment was clean and well equipped. We took a cuppa down, sat in the park and fed squirrels on our day of arrival and then sat and watch them foraging down amongst the trees the next day as we ate breakfast in the apartment.

NO STAFF! We know the trend is for Key Boxes, but these are a nightmare to find and open and Birchover seems littered with them! (take away the redundant ones!). The Key Fob worked well but perhaps we missed that you are supposed to drop it into the Key slot inside the apartment- took ages to get lights on! Some feedback for the operators: the Shower tray is damaged and has delaminated- it's felt odd standing on it! The Kitchen tap leaks.

Superb apartment booked last minute so we were given a great price. The apartment is HUGE and would be more than suitable for a longer break. We very much hope to return to do this as West Bridgford is a brilliant town with a beautiful park in front of the Hall, lots of independent shops & cafes. It also has an excellent range of bus routes to take you all over Nottingham.

Very little to dislike but a couple of minor points, - the sofa and mattresses all felt a little worn, saggy - the shower ran cold intermittently whilst using it - the smoke alarm in the lounge was not connected

The place was absolutely incredible!! We were blown away! The children thought they had hit the jackpot and could not believe where we were staying! The beds were comfortable, we had everything we needed, it was a beautiful place and we love the showers and bath!
