The Bickfield Annex is an incredible accommodation with an incredible host in Gloria. Upon arrival we were treated to a tour of the farm showing the horses and alpacas, and Gloria’s cute puppy. The annexe is very spacious and clean and has a full kitchenette, ensuite with a rain head shower and a big comfortable bed with a TV and streaming services. Gloria provided us with some goodies in the fridge which were much appreciated and was so helpful and kind from start to finish. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Lovely position in the Chew Valley. Perfect for exploring the surrounding towns and villages. 🌳 We loved the fact that our two little dogs were made welcome too. It was so nice to have a weekend away with them.

Two remote controls to operate TV and Amazon Firestick - aargh - too old to work out how to get actual broadcast TV as opposed to just catch-up services (but that is probably just operator error).

Modern stableyard annexe within a secluded farm. Small but cosy, and very peaceful. Provision of breakfast goodies (cereals, milk, eggs, bacon, sausages, etc) was great. Easy walking distance to a very good pub.

The location is superb. Forget your iPad and phone and bring a book while soaking in the amazing serene scenery. Gloria is absolutely lovely. I will be returning with my partner for a lush weekend away.

Privacy. In my opinion, a set of curtains were missing in order to walk from bedroom to bathroom without worries. Apart from that, everything was fantastic.

Location was great, surrounded by animals. The annexe was cozy and good for the value. The host thought about everything, as had lot of little things making you feel like at home.

It was a bit of shame Internet was not working and so was not TV. On the end we ended up using our mobiles Internet. It would be absolutely perfect, if there was a bit more detail brought into cleanliness.

We really enjoyed peace of place, location was perfect. There was plenty to do around area-we spend a day in Bath and did a bit of walking and climbing in Cheddar Gorge. There was pub just cross the field, which had really tasty food. Place has magnificent shower and comfortable bed. We loved, how our host Gloria supplied with goods for breakfast and got a card and Bucksfizz for my husbands birthday. We really appreciated that! Thank you.

Gloria and Steve must have stayed in a lot of bnb’s. They have incorporated the best features of so many other bnb’s into their annexe. Added to this is the warm and caring service they provide as well. Such a wonderful quiet rural setting.

We loved our accommodation. We stayed here for 2 nights and travelled to cheddar gorge and weston-super-mare, both very close. The room was very cosy with a comfortable brand new bed. The shower was just perfect after 2 days in the nature. Our son really enjoyed spending time around the horses, alpacs, dog, cat and chickens. Everything in a quiet and relaxing environment. The host was lovely and prepared everything from breakfast to books and table with chair for our toddler. And the cherry on the cake were the chocolates hidden under the pillow.

Everything!! It was homely, friendly, welcoming and such a wonderful time. The guided tour of the grounds was a brilliant way to start our stay. The place was spotless, plenty of breakfast options, full access to appliances. Absolutely faultless!
