For the price we had more facilities than we could even use, it was pristine and had a good feel to it, staff were excellent, food was great!

The view was spectacular from our room. Bed was large and comfy. Shower great with lovely shower products made in Aran. Restaurant and lobby had some spectacular sea views. We ate one night in the restaurant and the food was very nice. The staff were warm and helpful, especially at 10pm hoovering up the mass of mosquitoes who came in from window (I had left open as the room was very warm. Didn't know they gravitated to the light :-) Breakfast lots of choice and very good food. Had a swim in the hotel swimming pool, really enjoyable. Hotel left a congratulations card in our room (as we were on honeymoon) and that was a thoughtful touch which we appreciated.

Obviously an old building and it showed in some places , I thought some of the windows ,corridors pool were a little dated although done the job.

The Hotel has a lovely sea front view, there was always ample parking, the garden was neat and tidy with plenty seats for sitting out. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and housekeeping changed bins etc. The use of the pool was great … liked this hotel a lot

This was our first trip to Arran. It won't be our last. Everything was excellent. The Kinloch Hotel is warm, welcoming and obviously cared for by the owners. It looks fantastic. The pool is an added bonus . We had dinner all 3 nights and found the choice and quality excellent. I recommend the seafood platter as a highlight . I have never seen such a generous portion of hot and cold smoked salmon on a single plate before. It was amazing

the shower in Rm 57 is dangerous with extreme fluctuations in temperature without intervention. It needs either a new cartridge or a replacement unit.

All the staff were very friendly and reception proactive in alerting us to a ferry problem before our arrival. As we were likely to miss our evening meal advised on alternative venues on the mainland. Breakfast and dinner excellent.

The food was reasonable, very overcooked vegetables with fish pie, cooked breakfast on cold plate so breakfast cooled quickly. Down 3 options at breakfast due to being a vegetarian, vegetarian sausage would have helped.

Very friendly welcome by staff, lounge and bar great, bedroom wow factor view of the bay, clean and tranquil room.Bathroom beautifully equipped. Car park great and close by.Lounge fantastic with marvellous views.Best bar staff ever.

May have got a bit of food poisoning as I had only eaten at the hotel. Had a nasty stomach upset for a few days.

Breakfast in the mornings were great and not too busy with plenty of space. The sauna and pool were nice. The sea view from our room was brilliant. Was really comfortable with the surroundings.

The room felt clean except for a toenail clipping we found in the bed. We didn't really like the fact that you had to book the pool in 1h timeslots. It made it seem a bit inflexible. The pool also isn't somewhere you would want to hang around, there are no chairs or sunloungers by the pool so it's definitely a 'you go there to swim' situation. This was the most expensive hotel of our vacation but not necessarily the best so I would say that the value for money isn't quite there. But we had a good time anyway.

The staff was really friendly and our room had a lovely view overlooking the sea.

The rate was quite high but we got value for money.

Had a room at the rear of the hotel with its own parking area (and electric charging point). The room was clean, tidy, quiet and had a great view of the sea. The breakfast was excellent - lovely fresh fruit salad and full buffet. Staff were all really friendly and helpful - especially Robbie. (a mention too for Meagan and Malley) Would highly recommend.
