Room was like a sauna, couldn't get it cool enough for comfortable sleep even with turning off the radiator and opening the window. Had to close the window at night as Saturday night and lot of noise outside. Walls thin so can also hear people moving about in adjacent rooms. Bed squeeked, not the most comfortable

Room was a little bit tired, however it had what we needed and was very cosy.

Location okay, quiet, visited for a football match, ground about 20/25 mins walk away. Plenty of shops, eating and drinking places all within few minutes walk. Staff friendly and informative, suggested places for breakfast and pointed us the right direction. Tea and coffee selections in the room very good.

Had a great weekend visiting my daughter at university in Exeter. The location was ideal for my daughter’s accommodation and then going into town for shopping/restaurants. The staff were very friendly/approachable. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of tea/coffee in the room.

Perfect location for visiting my son at uni and seeing a bit of Exeter. No parking on site but easy to park right across the road in a public parking. Staff were amazing, helpful and friendly and even offered some counselling to a stressed mum.

Staff very welcoming. Room lovely and clean. Plug socket and charging point by bed. Nice towels. Kettle with regular tea, coffees and a selection of herbal teas.

It would be perfect place for travelers if I could use a nice kitchen.

The beds were lumpy and not comfortable. The shared shower was very small with no place to keep your clothes or towel.

Close to center and station. Facilities were good enough. Took a shared bathroom room with twin beds. Room was small but okay for one night. Staff was very friendly. There was a wash basin in the room.

Although the rooms were not too big they were compact which I experienced during this trip at other places too The exceptional thing was the host Tracy who was very welcoming and warm and very pleasant to talk and even Emily was very helping and welcoming Overall a short and pleasant stay !

I was informed of was the last time they were serving breakfast there. For that reason i wouldn't chose Bendene again. Despite the wonderful staff, i like to have the option of breakfast.

The staff were amazing and it was wonderful to be able to have the option of breakfast at the premises. It saved me having to find a place in the town centre.

Booking.com doesn't have the right images of the room I stayed in. I thought I was getting a desk in my room but I didn't have one, so I felt a bit misled. This room desperately needs updating, I noticed some safety hazards.

Very friendly staff member to welcome me. (Thank you for the restaurant recommendations - I loved the Dinosaur Cafe!) Cosy, comfortable single room with everything I needed.

The room I originally booked (twin room) was incredibly dirty and unpleasant at first glance. However, after my complaint, they changed my room to a cleaner one, which I appreciate, the staff at the reception was very nice and helpful in that regard. Just please hire someone who will do a good job when cleaning the rooms, they hurt your reputation.
