We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomHowie was the perfect host, very friendly & helped with our luggage and parking on arrival. The suite was spotless and very comfortable. Cozy lounge area with TV, fridge, small table with two chairs and settee Tea and coffee making facilities, with fresh milk in the fridge Good size bathroom with shower, lots of hot water, large soft towels, and again spotless. In the bedroom area, a very comfortable bed with beautiful bedding. Good size wardrobe, dressing table, full length mirror. tv, etc. Juliette balcony over looking the lake. Everything on the doorstep, pubs, cafés, baker's, shops, etc. 5 min walk to Lake windamere where you can jump on a boat to visit other areas or take a bus tour. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. It was perfect. We will definitely be back. Many thanks to Howie & Martin, we had a fabulous break.home

United KingdomThere is a bit of traffic noise, so we were glad we were on the second floor, but as you are right in the centre of town, that's maybe to be expected.
The suite was spacious with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Very clean. Great location and right in the midst of everything. Our hosts were delightful.

We had a fantastic stay at Bowness Bay Suites! Martin was absolutely wonderful—such a friendly and welcoming host. The rooms were spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and far exceeded our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we'll definitely be returning!

United KingdomVery warm welcome and lovely rooms to relax in after a long drive. Parking permit was a real godsend as this is a busy lilttle town, but we only had to wait a few minutes for a space to appear in the nearby carpark. We were also able to leave our bikes locked safely in the garden. They're located in the centre of town, close to shops, cafes and pubs so everything was within easy reach. The guys who run this place are absolutely adorable and so helpful, but the very best thing about it was the bed - oh my word, the bed. It was SO comfortable. We'll definitely go back next time we're in the area.

United KingdomAbsolutely loved everything about staying at bowness suites, you have a living room area and a bedroom area and both have so much space, extremely clean and tidy and have everything you need in your room from an iron and ironing board to coffee making facilities and if you did need something the guys would be able to help you out with your enquiries. It felt like a home from home as we were made to feel so welcomed right from the start. Lovely views of the lake from the Juliette balcony and it was nice to sit watching everything that was going on at the lake as these suites are at the centre of the town so you can get to everything with ease. You guys should be proud of what you do and provide 😀

The two hosts Martin and Howard were so friendly, so inviting and helpful with anything we needed. The suite was so clean and comfortable and also it was walking distance to the shops and restaurants. A big plus was that the hosts sorted us out with a parking permit and a parking space which we were so grateful for. A lovely place to stay and we would definitely stay there again.

United KingdomParking was just around the corner and so cheap ! I was a little anxious stopping to unload bags but Martin and Howie were on hand to help me with that and took me to the car park, very easy.
I love this property and was so pleased to take the chance and book it. Such lovely and welcoming hosts, Martin and Howie, these guys just can’t do enough for you to make your stay so wonderful. Our room, well suite, was beautiful, so comfortable and immaculately clean. Location is perfect, in the centre of Bowness.
