Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We got a free room upgrade, which was a nice surprise. The room was so big and spacious and the toilet was just lush. We went for a walk in the evening and were amazed with how beautiful the town is. The next morning we had breakfast, which had a lot of options and enjoyed the swimming pool. We had a fantastic time!

Stylish, well presented hotel. Wonderful staff and high standard of food, especially the evening meal. Used the gym, small but air conditioned with everything you need for a decent workout. Lovely indoor and outdoor seating areas. Rooms were excellent and spotless. We will definitely be returning, very impressed indeed. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who obviously work so very hard.
