Although we had a lovely front room facing the main road, the b&b is located on a very noisy heavy traffic area, which is very loud from early morning til late at night.

The fridge was stocked each day with ample and good quality breakfast choices. The bathroom, although very small, was very bright and clean and modern. The location was great as there were bus stops and the (Carbis Bay) train station nearby, and a mini grocery store and coffee shop next door

The hotel was spotless. Jan and her husband are lovely! So friendly and nothing is too much. They put lots of snacks in the fridge for you and water and orange juice. If you use any then by the next day they are topped up again. Spotless hotel and very welcoming.

Had a very pleasant stay here, location perfect for Carbis Bay beach and a lovely 25minute walk to St Ives town. Pete and Jan were very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend a stay with them

Location. Bus stops directly outside. Nice restaurants nearby. supermarket 10 yards away. The hospitality of the Hosts. Nice touches in the bedroom.

Well maintained and clean B&B, good transport links nearby and just a 10min walk to the beautiful Carbis Bay beach! Breakfast boxes and drinks in the room fridge were an excellent touch!

We loved the location of hotel and enjoyed our stay. The cute touches of filling up the fridge each day was such a lovely surprise. The staff were really friendly and easy to talk to. Our room was a compact double so was expected to be small and more cramped than other rooms but booking so last minute in Cornwall and at such a reasonable price we got what we paid for. The only things we found with the room was the bed was quite uncomfortable. Not sure if the mattress is becoming worn and we were just unlucky to be staying when it's got to this point. However that being said the duvet and pillows were very comfy and warm. The room was pristine in cleanliness and decorated well. It was cleaned every day so made coming back to the room a warm welcome in the evenings. We used the hotel as a base to get to the train to St ives which was a very short walk from the room and is only £2 for a return! We would love to stay at this hotel again in the future, just perhaps in one of the larger doubles. I know this hotel has so much to offer and we thank the staff for having us and for providing us with a great place to stay.

There was an unpleasant smell throughout the building. My room was smelly I think it was the carpet it smelt like dried urine/perfumes used to disguise it. The room was very small for a double bed. I was expecting abit more space as it was tight moving around the room and bathroom was clean but very compact.

It had parking which was good. A good location and I checked the cleaniness rating which were high so I chose this property.

Getting down to Carbis Bay,was very very steep hill. So we were unable to use,the beach ,very disappointed ☹️. Even taking the car down near .still hill to climb.

Buses very regular going past the door. Handy for sightseeing wise areas of Cornwall.

Couldn’t ask for more. Reached the property quite late to be received by the staff who upgraded our room without any extra cost. The room overlooked the main road with seaside in far. The staff had loaded up the fridge with a variety of snacks which were free of cost. We were able to get really good recommendations from the staff as well. Overall a lovely stay made memorable because of the hospitality extended by the staff. Definitely recommended place to go if you are planning to be in St Ives on a budget and you want to live a bit away from the beach, not so far.

Busy main road to St Ives made it a bit noisy as we had a room facing the front.

We spent a very comfortable 2 nights here. Our room was very clean and we loved having a fridge and a convenience store close by. Central location close to Station, bus stop and beach with places to eat within walking distance. Very helpful host.

A warm welcome. A cozy room, comfortable bed and good shower. Fluffy towels and quality shampoo and shower gel. Small fridge was replenished daily with breakfast items. Milk, water, juice, yoghurt and fruit. Breakfast bars and pain au chocolate. Plenty of tea and coffee. And cereals. It was nice to eat breakfast at a little table with sea glimpses ! A relaxing stay.
