The property was lovely, we loved the look of it inside and out. We were greeted on arrival with complimentary tea, coffee and bara brith. Breakfast was very nice, service was excellent. The location was perfect for our walking plans.

Amazing place to stay. A beautiful house in a great location with wonderful views. We had a lovely room and were greeted with tea and bara brith cake. Lovely breakfast and pretty pub only 10 mins away for an evening meal. Great hospitality.

We spent a lovely weekend here. Location is gorgeous, perfect base for hiking. Breakfast was delicious (veggie and vegan) staff are great. We were contacted to check we had dinner reservations. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Thanks!

A little difficult to get to. But one you’re there it’s worth it.

The b&h is located in a very scenic area, the room was spacious and very well decorated. The breakfast was perfect. The little “in case you forgot” cabinet and the fridge are such a nice touch. The hosts are absolutely lovely people.

Everything about this boutique hotel is A* / 5 star. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and designed to the highest standard. Customer service-wise - the staff and hosts are amazing. Nothing is too much hassle! Finally, the breakfast is fantastic, compliments to the chef.

The weather could have been a little dryer!

There wasn't anything not to like!! The host was fantastic, the views were spectacular, the food was to die for, and the service was impeccable. Our room was the best we've stayed in while in the UK, the hosts have done an amazing job of transforming a very old structure, into a modern B&B without losing a bit of its old world charm.

I didn't realize we would be on the 3rd floor and have so many steps to climb. With my recent knee replacement surgery I should have requested a room lower down, but was able to manage. This has nothing to do with the property, just me not realizing it would be at such an upper level.

Exceptional view. Bed comfortable. Breakfasts excellent. Shower nice with lovely toiletries. Had washcloths in addition to hand and bath towels which was very much appreciated by us Americans. Helpful advice for local restaurants and walks. Friendly staff. Decent fan provided which helped with the heat.

Very rarely does a property exceed expectations like this one did. My partner was sceptical and wanted to stay in a hotel, but she absolutely loved it and I have a strong feeling we'll be returning! The breakfasts were truly exceptional, the vegetarian breakfast one of the best I've had bar none. The facilities were excellent.
