The shower in our attic room was a little underpowered.

This hotel has been wonderfully renovated. It’s authentic but very modern too. We loved our stay here for 2 nights and do not hesitate to recommend. We needed 2 days for the Dockyard visit which was awesome. Local restaurants did not disappoint. Parking was easy right outside. Super king sized bed was comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The family who run it are super helpful. Thank you Felix & Mary.

The room was very clean and staff were friendly. The decor of the room and bar was very good and the bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast and a bacon or sausage bap was great.

The shower was rather silly, no proper shower separater so the bathroom floor got rather wet as well! Breakfast was just ok.

Mary (??) helped us out by charging the street-parking fee to her phone and which we could then reimburse. You can only pay cash or via the RingGo app which only works with UK cell numbers!

The shower was a wet room style so the whole bathroom was soaked after anyone had a shower - but it wasn’t the end of the world - with window open it did dry - imagine it would be a hassle in the colder months.

Very close to all the local attractions- every single member of staff was friendly helpful and professional - they really couldnt do enough for you. The room was small but stylish, clean and well organised with plenty of storage and a very comfy bed. The breakfast baps were tasty and filling.

The bathroom was in the style of a wet room and was on the small side which meant after a shower everything got wet - but there were plenty of towels provided which helped.

The location was great. Super comfortable bed, everything was nicely decorated. Staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean. The shower was really powerful. Huge TV in the room.

Becketts was a great B&B. It's clean, quiet and almost completely panelled in wood. Felt more like a cabin. It's really quiet, despite being just by the road. The staff are very good. I'd give a special shout out to Mia - excellent customer service, all through my stay. Thank you.

I recently enjoyed staying at this lovely and well-located B&B, which I highly recommend. The comfortable bed and beautifully designed room made my stay relaxing and enjoyable. What's more, Mia and Sony were fantastic and always willing to assist with any questions or requests I had. Thank you :) Overall, my experience was wonderful, and I would definitely consider staying at this B&B again.

Absolutely beautiful little boutique B&B. The rooms were lovely and the whole setting was so comfortable and cosy. The staff were all lovely especially Jodie behind the bar she was fab. Would definitely book again when visiting Portsmouth. Fab little find.

Location was fantastic. Bar area was really lovely. Sunny the bar tender was an absolute delight and really looked after us. Bedroom was great but a bit of a strange set up with regards to bathroom facilities. Breakfast was adequate, they don't really have cooking facilities for a cooked breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here.

If I had to nitpick, I plugged my Fire TV stick into the back of the TV and the back of the TV was very dusty, but the rest of the room was spotless! Also there is only street parking available which you have to pay for, if you are staying a few nights it could get expensive. But the location of the property can’t be helped and there are plenty of streets with free parking near to Becketts if you need it.

Everything with Becketts was amazing, really took me and my partner by surprise! The facilities were great, staff were very friendly, the room was modern, clean and comfortable. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to stay here again!!

maybe an offset in the room price for the parking cost may have been nice. lighting in the room was either dull or bright. secondary glazing would help with the road noise.

The only downside was the function room as the noise penetrated the lounge area and our bedroom at the top of the building. On mentioning the noise levels were disturbing us we were quickly advised the music would stop and the party would finish shortly which it did. I imagine timing a were taken into account when booking out the function room given this was addressed so quickly

A beautiful building so incredibly and lovingly restored. So very stylish and so much attention to detail. The sofa’s alongside the wood burner were an unexpected treat. Our entire stay was so comfortable on every level. As for the staff, all an absolute delight
