This is one of the best places we have stayed in. It was clean, well equipped to an exceptional standard , peaceful, and they have just about thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Linda the Host is extremely helpful and friendly and also provides her guests with an out door seating area and BBQ. The cottage is all on one level making it very accessible. It was so lovely to returned to after a days cycling and the local Pub too was just a walk away and served great food with a good atmosphere. We will certainly be returning.

Could do with a mat inside the entrance door to prevent dirt and rain from walking boots getting onto the floor. The sofa sadly was not comfortable to sit on, very saggy! Probably more noticeable as the rest of the property is so comfortable and well presented.

Beautiful property, very clean and provides everything you need for a home away from home. Host was easy to contact and communicate with and left some lovely biscuits which hubby enjoyed! Although we did not use it the outside space was lovely and the garden is gorgeous. Easy to find with owners directions.

Only think I could comment on is there is a vent for the shower that bangs when the wind blows which startled us a few times at the beginning of the trip, but we were used to it by the time we left :)

Very beautiful cottage, in a lovely remote location, yet still a 10-30 minute drive away from some of the best experiences in the Yorkshire Dales. Equipped with everything you would need for your stay, exceptional.

The location was ideal for us as we wanted to be close to Leyburn. The cottage was well heated and it had a very comfortable and relaxing lounge. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed for a self catering stay. The cottage was very clean and finished to a high standard with ample room for 2 people. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend the property to family and friends. Thanks Linda

Each and every aspect your wants/needs were thought about regarding our stay. Even down to Fresh milk and sugar and of course Yorkshire Tea was available on arrival. This was much appreciated.

This cottage had all I needed. absolutely quiet with scenic views and plenty of opportunities for cycling and walking. The kitchen was well equipped, the washing mashine worked perfectly and the bed was comfy. Pure bliss

There was nothing we didn't like as everything was extremely perfect for us

An exceptional holiday cottage! Without doubt the best we have ever stopped in, the cottage is unbelievably special from the moment you walked in you are surrounded by peace and tranquillity. The cottage was absolutely perfect in terms of location, cleanliness and the equipment provided was very high specification, it really was spotlessly clean not a spec of dust anywhere, kitchen has everything you need, bed extremely comfortable, no noise at night and we had a amazing relaxing stay. The seating area in the garden was absolutely lovely as we sat outside of an evening after a long day of walking just watching the wildlife and having a drink, it really was so peaceful and relaxing. Linda and John the hosts were so very kind, easy to talk to, extremely welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return soon and would love to have stayed longer and felt very sad to leave after our stay.

An excellent cottage, very cosy and an ideal base to explore Bishopdale and Mid-Wensleydale one of the nicest parts of the Yorkshire Dales. We have used many types of accomodation but this is the best!
