Having booked and paid for my stay some time in advance, I was surprised to receive a message the day before travel telling me the room would not be available and offering a different address (5 miles away in Worcester). Soon after, I had another message giving another address, also in Worcester. Eventually, I was told that I would be able to stay at Beautiful Bungalow after all. This uncertainty was far from ideal. In the event, when I arrived at the property, I was unable to gain access and a phone call to the owner was needed for him to come (about ten minutes) and let me in. Neither the bedroom nor the shared bathroom had any locks or door-bolts.

Breakfast was on a DIY basis from a small range of items provided in the kitchen. The property is located within reasonable walking distance from the town-centre. A pleasant walk, mainly through parkland, leads to the High Street with its range of shops and eateries.

Bedroom door needed a good shove and a lock.

Friendly family bungalow, family elsewhere, only one other guest. Good communication over mobile phone about key pick up, breakfast etc. First time in Droitwich and I got advice on walking to the town through the park. Enjoyed historic town centre and walk by the Droitwich canal.

Unprepared for me. Still hoovering when I got there and cleaning the toilet. No toilet paper. I had to go out and get some. Bed was unmade with only thin sheet over the mattress

I would never give a bad review but this place is beyond limits. Its cheap at £50 ,,but believe me,you are over paying at this price. There's too much wrong with all elements of this place to mention. From health and safety, to hygiene this place has nothing. The guy tried to bluff that he was on the case,he's a joke. Whether you believe in God or not,is not the point of the two words that accurately sum up my review. Steer well clear..my review....DEAR GOD!!!!

There was noise in that house and i had to demand to have my room key which made me feel very scared. I would have expected to be given a key on arrival but it was not like that. I didn’t eat anything cause I was scared to go to the kitchen where the owner had put a bottle off milk in the fridge. I still don’t understand why I was made to understand that breakfast was included on the bill.

Communication Honesty Value for Money

I arrived early, just as the owner phoned to say there was a problem with the plumbing and that the heating was off. A lie because the exhaust was blowing and the premises were empty-no plumber working. Was directed to other premises where I was met by (presumably) the owner. Bed linen was not fresh. House was obviously normally inhabited by a family and kitchen equipped accordingly. Evening meal and breakfast promised. No-one appeared to provide evening food. Had to root around for breakfast. Absolutely no communication until long after I had left, when I was asked to recommend on my review.

left after one night despite paying for four. didn’t feel comfortable sharing accommodation with a male I did not know and no ability to lock my bedroom nor the bathroom. even if this is shared accommodation these are basic fundamentals that should be supplied. i have stayed in hostels with better security and safety

If you are happy paying hotel prices and taking a punt on who may be in the house at the same time as you, with the inability to secure your stuff and not have privacy of the bathroom with a simple lock then this is the ideal place for you
