There wasn’t anything we didn't like.

As a family of 4, we loved the freedom of staying in the apartment where we could relax and have the space to do so, unlike staying in a hotel where we are all crammed in one room. The children loved being able to watch TV in bed, and the use of Nextflix and Amazon TV was great.The younger one had so much room to play he even made a den under the table and loved looking through the telescope at the golfers. The view from the lounge window was ever changing and you could happily sit there for a good while just enjoying the peace and quiet. The kitchen was well equipped and even had the things you always forget to bring, like tea and coffee and condiments. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. Absolutely spotless when we arrived, and the owners were quick to reply to any messages. Location is really good and the off road parking a god send when you don't travel light!!

Had to pay a large deposit, the host made us aware after booking but I did not expect this when booking initially. This is unusual for most places I have stayed at with booking. There was an issue with the international transfer possible with the host but they resolved it in a timely manner.

Very good location, very responsive hosts. Large bedrooms and living rooms. The main bed was nice but could have been comfier. There was an issue with the check in time, this was an error with booking advising an earlier time, was resolved with the host. I would recommend staying here for a long or short stay.

The cot was too wee for our one year old although we were sent the dimensions ahead of time so should have planned better!

The location was absolutely perfect, all amenities were close by. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The view from the apartment was incredible.

Entrance stairs looking a little tired... Living room has such a high ceiling it's hard to keep warm , but we take our heated throws wherever we go so we didn't go cold 🌈

Perfect location for visiting our family in Ayr, Prestwick, Irvine and Mauchline. Spacious and clean, with a 'Fredo' on arrival ( although hubby would have preferred a Tunnocks👍😂) Nice shower, plenty of towels, space to hang clothes, and Netflix 👍 Maybe an air fryer might be worth adding... just because so many of us cook with them nowadays x Deposit was returned swiftly 😁

You really have to look hard to find anything less than positive to say about this property. There was really nothing noteworthy.

Everything about this property was wonderful. The building itself is like a small castle, the gardens are mature, well tended and spacious and the interior is light and spacious with plenty of style and character. The appliances are of very high quality, the beds are very comfortable, the hosts are very positive and respond quickly to any questions.

Exceptional! Apartment in Ayr, located within a 4 minutes drive to the beach. Beautiful spacious apartment with a great view over the old racecourt. Fully equipped kitchen. Theyve thought of everything. Lots of parkingspace. And a very very nice and helpfull owner. I would highly recommend and will definitely come here again on my next trip to Scotland.

Some of the fittings were quite fragile, and broke easily. You are asked to bank-transfer a deposit ahead of time (instead of using Booking.com payment system) which is a costly challenge for non-UK bank account holders.

A nice spacious apartment for two couples and a toddler. The thick walls meant that we didn't disturb each other at all, and it was great to have a fully furnished and stocked kitchen for when we didn't want to eat out.

Nothing! Just one suggestion would be for a pint of milk to be provided for guests on arrival although there is a local store 5 minutes walk away.

The apartment is spacious with a lovely view. It's ideally located within easy reach of Ayr town centre and the beach. There are two nice hotels nearby that are open to non-residents that serve good food and have a nice selection of drinks. There is also an Indian restaurant close by where we had a wonderful meal one evening. The apartment has lovely grounds and is a true home from home.

The apartment is in a very convenient part of Ayr for all the amenities. Very good parking and nice gardens at the property. Kitchen is well equipped, nice little seating area off the kitchen which my two granddaughters adored (6yrs and 8yrs). Good shower, all plumbing in good working order. A nice apartment, great for families.

As the apartment is so spacious, it does take a good while to warm up, especially in the large living room.

Beautiful property in a perfect location. Hosts we’re very attentive before, during and after our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very helpful. Just a few minutes drive from the sea front and stunning views of the old racecourse. Our children loved watching the world go by through the telescope.
