    No negatives about this place.

Amazing place to stay, beautiful place and accommodation and catered for every need. We are a family of four and stayed for our sons 21st birthday we had a very comfortable stay and visited many places from that location.

NA - can’t think of anything!

Very comfortable and a home from Home. It’s very good having Netflix if you want to relax & stay in. Good selection of books to read, lodge is situated in a quiet corner site and the little garden room outside at the rear relax in is lovely too. Owners very helpful, look forward to returning.

    Everything was great!

Clean and comfortable lodge. Laura and Shirley had the place immaculate and all the little touches certainly made a difference. Gated terrace meant our pup could get outside saying hello to the neighbours and my stepson loved the summer house which sat on the river meaning he could chill there bird watching. Wifi is great and we would recommend the Chinese in Auchterarder for dinner as it was fantastic (Fortune something it was called). Overall, a fantastic stay. We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

Nothing to add here, we LOVED it!!!!!

We loved this place as soon as we stepped in! It was light & airy, had everything you could want & more, 2 bathrooms, very comfy bed & very homely feel! We wished we could’ve stayed longer as we didn’t get time to enjoy the little summer house by the stream. We loved the positioning, in the corner, so it felt more private. The hosts really had thought of everything! (Just need an ice cube tray. I hate to point that out as they really have thought of everything & gone beyond what self catering usually provides). Plenty of books (including lots on Scotland), games, very well equipped kitchen, large comfy arm chairs & sofa, lots of storage space & a lovely outdoor area to enjoy! Great base for exploring Stirling & Falkirk, & it’s set in beautiful surroundings!

Extremely happy with our accommodation. Very comfortable and a beautiful situation. We were in the area for a wedding which was just down the road. The owners were very informative about the accommodation and the area. They also catered very well for our dog.

Couldn’t fault anything about the lodge. Only negative thing I would say is the site is very dimly lit at night so if your out with your dog take a torch but didn’t stop us enjoying ourselves.

Stayed in the lodge next door (deer lodge) earlier in the year and it was superb, bear lodge is identical and is in a nice quiet corner of the site, everything was clean and tidy and the Prosecco was a really nice touch, even the carton of milk made it special, we got a tea and coffee when we arrived after a long drive. The power in the shower was amazing. Dog friendly. The lodge is only 10 minutes from Perth so nice and central for Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh. We will definitely be back in 2024.

We personally had a hard time getting a taxi to the main street and buses were quite a wait but as long as you don't mind a walk there and back its honestly fine, thats also not anything to do with the cabin or the park itself just the public transport so didn't effect our stay at all. The only negative i would say about the lodge is that we had to leave lol

Everything. Honesty, i couldn't fault a thing about the bear lodge, the park or the owners and staff. The cabin itself was immaculately clean and they thought of absolutely everything, even a chilled bottle of processo in the fridge. Our elderly dog felt calm and settled at the bear lodge, he loved it so much and quickly made himself at home. The owners were so lovely and friendly and we felt so welcomed and any of the staff we spoke to were lovely and friendly too. The park was well maintained and not far from the main street about a 30 minute walk where there is lots of places to drink and eat and also a co-op and most of the bars and restaurants are dog friendly too. Our lodge was right next to the river and we had a little sun room which we sat in at night and it was beautiful just the sounds of the river and nature, i will be returning again and have recommended it to many people.
