I loved all the attention to details!! The furnishings were so unique and appeared to be original antiques throughout the hotel. The bed was so comfortable!! The Gin bar was a treat.

The TV didn't show any channels, only let us cast things from our phone. The pillows were soooooo soft and spongy, really wanted them firmer.

An alarm sounded which I thought was me setting the fire alarm off, but I think was to let us know we had to leave soon.

Everything was absolutely fantastic. This isn't the sort of hotel we frequent as it's on the higher end, but it was definitely worth it. The staff were exceptional and made us feel welcome and were incredibly kind. They accommodated us, looked after our luggage even after we checked out. They never made anything feel like a hassle. It felt more like a home than a hotel. Loved the dual shower and bath, and the his and hers sinks. Absolutely beautiful room.

It’s very ornate and was a pretty hotel that was quiet. It’s very central to London Liverpool station and the heron tower where we planned breakfast, so worked great for us personally in terms of not having to drag cases around central London.

The air conditioning did not work well, it was very warm inside the room and the way the bed was placed, the pillows kept falling down between the headboard and the bed which was uncomfortable so we had to use the cushions to fill the gap.

It was a lovely quirky hotel and central to everything we needed, staff were also very friendly and helpful

More surfaces to place trays for breakfast. The shelf space was minimal, aqnd the desk was the main one. Many of the chairs sacrificed plop-down comfort for style. Period pieces all, but not for modern sitters.

There was nothing to dislike.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, especially Helen. The rooms were beautifully decorated and quirky. The breakfast, which was served in bed was exceptional.

AC was not working and portable unit was not terribly effective, and stopped working in the middle of the night. Luckily the weather had cooled down a bit but it was still stufffy even with windows open. Also a strong chemical smell in the room.

A lovely cosy room. Comfortable bed. Good shower/bath facilities. Added terrace made breakfast a delight to eat privately with family. Location was ideal for where we needed to be and very quiet.

Hotel was in a great location, very close to Liverpool St, surrounded by restaurants, shops and just a short walk from Spitalfields Market. Lots of character in all the rooms, very happy with suite, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Honesty bar is a great idea

Lovely hotel in a great location close to public transport and yet tucked away in a quiet location. Staff here were all fantastic - loved the tour before being taken to our room. Room was lovely - bath was incredible and the bed really comfy, although very high - I’m 5ft 3 and could have used a step up!
