honestly I struggle to mention any negatives. the only thing was we had to be careful on the walkway to the apartment as it was very slippery in parts when wet. this isn't a negative comment just an fyi.

free and easy parking, instructions were excellent regarding the apartment. everything we needed for our break. didn't have a need to contact the owners as all information was plentiful. we would 100% return here if we visit Bath again. even got to meet the owners lurcher who seemed to be just checking we were safely inside :-)

Lovely place to stay . Stunning location by the River , lovely house with a great Balcony with river views . The place was very comfortable and clean . The location is perfect and a short walk into town or catch the free boat in the morning . We regularly stay in self catering villas/apartments, Toad Hall at the Boating station is definitely one of the best we’ve stayed in. .We will definitely go back . Bath is a great place to visit .

The location, the apartment, facilities are great. The canoe boat and then the motor boat that collects you and takes you into the city centre. The staff are great and very friendly. These grounds also house two dogs who just love attention

What a location, it was idyllic. Superb location and accommodation, it was so comfortable, a real home from home. The complimentary boat trip to town was a great touch, bath was superb, lovely meal at the bathwick restaurant on Saturday and bandook indian restaurant on Sunday.

An exceptional stay, with perfect facilities. Such a relaxing environment with swans and squrirels outiside our room.. Free access to row boats was fun, and free morning boat lift into city centre was useful. Only an easy 15 minute stroll into the city centre.

Fabulous family run business in a beautiful location! The girls who were running the boating station were really friendly and helpful. We had a lazy day sat on the grass watching the boats going by before a short walk into Bath. We had the apartment which is more than spacious for a couple and has everything ypu will need! We will definitely return. 😊

It was a very pretty location. 15 min walk into town centre. Very clean apartment with everything you need. Lulu was lovely & advised us about the boat transfer into town. Parking was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful stay & and hopefully, see you again. Would highly recommend.

The location was superb, right on the river Avon. Spent some lovely evenings enjoying a drink on the lawns near the riverbank. A short 10 min walk to town centre. Apartment was great with comfy bed and lovely amenities.

The very noisy springy bed and mattress, albeit comfy. Leaving!!!

From the moment we arrived we loved the Boating Station. It’s a fabulous place, kept to a very high standard, easy to find, well situated for town, on the river bank of course, has on-site parking, and with a lovely restaurant too. The owners / staff made us feel very welcome and were so friendly, as were the two family dogs who roam freely and are no trouble at all. We stayed in the Garden Room which has everything you need, and the best views of the river. In the morning you can catch a complementary ride into town on one of the big boats at 9.30 & 10ish. You can also hire one of the smaller boats throughout your stay to have a go yourself. The whole place is just amazing, and family members staying elsewhere were in awe of it all. If it was mine I wouldn’t want to share it!

Being really picky - but as weather was beautiful could have just done with the outside furniture being more comfortable to sit and relax. We also found the tiles in the shower a little slippy so could have done with a rubber mat.

Beautiful location, very comfortable, had everything you needed. Apart from your personal items didn’t need to take anything else. Very convenient free parking. Literally couldn’t fault it.

The property was well furnished, very clean, with a very comfortable bed. The quiet riverside location was excellent, with free parking and only a 16 minute walk away from the centre of Bath. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, with great communication prior to our arrival. The free hour boating experience was a great bonus to the stay.

Property set in beautiful setting beside the lake, very peaceful and calm. Lovely gardens, well-lit in the evening and great to spend some time in. Easy walking distance into Bath, and passing various points of interest makes the walk go by even quicker! And if you want to rest your legs = the free boat into town was brilliant and a lovely extra treat. Was like a ‘home from home’ with lots of amenities provided, included starter teabags and coffee.
