Bathroom had a fixed shower but could be useful to include a secondary flexible hose shower had also.

Comfortable, quite, good facilities, very good food and very nice and helpful staff. My wife's coeliac (gluten free) diet was so well served for all meals

Our room had a view onto the car park, which felt overlooked. Limited dining options at the hotel, even the bar menu is expensive and was not great.

The room was very comfortable, provided tea and coffee and biscuits was great and a nice touch. There is a mini fridge which I always appreciate in hotel room. The hotel is nice and relaxing.

The journey into Norwich takes a lot longer than the distance would justify, rush hour traffic builds up significantly but also there were roadworks when I was staying which I am sure did not help.

The only thing I could say is the extra expense to use the facilities. The facilities gym,swim, steam, sauna ect is the only thing that let the hotel down as it isn’t that great it’s small and busy. It is not the best and the hotel guests should be able to have access without extra charge. If it was something special then maybe needs updating

Clean, staff where friendly, breakfast was fabulous, room was lovely with a garden view. The only thing that was disappointing was we had to pay a extra fee for the facilities at the hotel. That should be included when staying. The swimming steam and sauna where nice but not great. Could do with updating

We booked first through booking.com and then added an extra night through the hotels website as Booking had none left. I tried to call 5 times to let them know so they could hopefully put the bookings together and save us moving rooms but I got no answer. When I arrived I said the to the rather unfriendly elderly gentleman behind reception and he pretty much called me a liar as he is never far from that phone apparently, even though we didn’t see him again for the next 3 days. Very rude and unhelpful. Said we would have to check out in the morning, go off for 5 hours and then cone back and check in again. And he would carry over our leisure centre pass because it was 2 separate bookings. The next morning when we checked out there was a lovely lady on the desk who gave us a new leisure centre pass for free and even offered us to stay in the same room. The rest of the stay made up for him but I’m not sure what the guys problem was but is but he is letting you down enormously. Ruined the start to our stay.

We had a massage at the spa which was amazing, good leisure centre with gym, great food from the restaurant and for the most part very helpful friendly staff

We were overcharged for breakfast and when I went to the reception to complain the receptionist was abrupt and rude. (His name was Peter) The other staff were lovely.

Continental breakfast was very mediocre and expensive, food in general was expensive but good quality. Hotel needs more signage, it took me a day to find my way around. Didn’t like lane swimming only in the pool. No shower cubicle in standard rooms only in suites, very difficult if you are disabled.

We arrived at the property for our check in time at 3pm however the room was not ready for us, so we sat down and waited 45 minutes. When we came back to the desk there was 5 / 6 other couples in the same situation. The receptionist was under staffed and under a lot of pressure as everyone was starting to get frustrated. By the time we got our keys it had gone 4pm and we had a reservation booked which we had to move to a later time. I felt the room was rather expensive considering it did not include breakfast or swim passes. The spa facilities for £7.50 each was okay. The pool was small and we did not spend a whole lot of time there. I felt this should have been included with the price of the room.

Bathroom plumbing appalling … when you need to put an explanation in guide about how to operate bath taps and shower … you need different taps !!! Sound proofing between my room and next non existent … every word came through wall.
