Few repair issues in room and when I stripped beds on leaving, quilt and pillows were a bit grubby. Definitely need a curtain that fits the window.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. Food was really nice. Room was small but modern. Could do with a few repairs to things like bed side light, heater, toilet seat and shower door however my friend stayed in the room next door and had no issues. I'm hoping our room was due to be upgraded as I have no.other issues and it's the perfect venue for our annual visit to the area. Plenty of parking and easy to find.

My room heating did not work but sorted next morning Tv had no remote but we found it under the bed on the floor

Room was very warm and had to sleep with the window open. The room key card did not work very well and sometimes took up to 30 attempts to get in.

Comfortable bed and the room was quiet and clean. Bathroom was good. Breakfast was good and the quality and quantity was great.

No lift, toilet seat moving, shower doors didn’t close properly , mould in shower, not enough water pressure, only two single sockets in the room No where near the kettle, tv was small and signal was crap, only one lamp working

The shower in my room was broken. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to use it. Otherwise, the room was ok

The drain in the shower was blocked and overflowing. The rooms are a bit small. Very basic facilities for the price paid.

The room is rather small. I do not mind paying for a bigger space. No sitting space as such. Also only one tea cup for a party of 2 adults.

The room had splashes all up the walls, the carpet was dirty and it was very bright from the lights outside. However we only needed a bed for the night and that's what we got!

We stayed here for 1 night due to me doing the Great North Run, so we literally just needed a bed for the night for 5 of us. I rang ahead to ask the the hotel if there would be enough space for a travel cot and 2 children to share the single bed and she made sure we were in a room with a large single and plenty of space for a travel cot. "Neva" was very helpful and we met her on arrival and she was very friendly.

Soundproofing is not great, which is to be expected in a hotel of this type. Not much can be done about this, as the noise was coming from other guests who show little or no concern for anyone but themselves. Again, this can happen anywhere these days.

Lots of free parking. We were given a spacious room. In addition to normal heating, it had a fan heater and a fan. The location is an easy flat walk into town - about 20 minutes to all destinations. Staff were very helpful and the waitress at breakfast was exceptional. Breakfast was of a very good standard and included nice extras like juices, a wide selection of fresh fruit and croissants.

The noise on a night was quite disturbing. Banging and very loud voices after midnight from the kitchen.

It’s situated in a very ‘rough’ area. and was even blacklisted so we weren’t able to order takeaways, which made us have our guard up, as to where we were. Not the hotel’s fault of course. also, the breakfast staff were lovely, however the breakfast wasn’t what we expected. not much to choose from, considering the price of our room.

All the staff we encountered were lovely and so so friendly to my little brother.

The bed needs replacing. Frame Is damaged & noisy & was uncomfortable & kept waking others in the room it was that loud. Rest of beds I've stayed in have been fine.

I've stayed here a number of times now. Staff are lovely & will go above & beyond to make sure you have the best stay. Clean. Close to park,shops & town. Am back next week too
