We had a lovely 2 days at Ballymakeever, the apartment was spotless and comfortable and we were greeted with a welcome hamper on arrival. The hot tub was an extra added bonus with great views of the country side.

The WiFi was very slow however, we were able to use our 5G and the laptop we bought with us to watch stuff so it wasn’t an issue for us. However, it could be an issue for others. The toilet was very wobbly like it wasn’t screwed in properly but it wasn’t a big deal.

We stayed here for 2 nights, the property was clean and well maintained. The bed was super comfortable, the heating was easy to work and it heated up the place super fast meaning it didn’t have to be on for long at all. The photos don’t do the apartment justice it’s much bigger in person. We had a small issue of the remote not working but Teresa answered my message and bought us new batteries super quick! She was very attentive. The hot tub was amazing and was maintained in the same quality during our whole stay. It has an added bonus of built in Bluetooth speakers which was a great touch. The location was beautiful and so peaceful, plenty of lambs around which just made it so much better. We had a lovely stay and hopefully will be back in the future.

Couldn’t fault it - all facilities that you would need are there plus more. In the middle of nowhere so extremely peaceful. We would definitely come back

Not that I didn't like it, but instructions for the super sonic shower could help - it has jets of water, the large overhead part AND a normal shower head - I got soaked unintentionally many times trying to figure it out (like a dumbo). And possibly for the heating too - although there were lovely blankets left out too.

The apartment is beautiful, much bigger than it looks in the pics! Fantastic views, & there is only a garage down below so no people under & you have the hot tub all for yourself - which is huge btw! If you're looking for silence this is perfect! Also a lovely wee hamper of stuff left which was very unexpected.
