The only thing which we found negative was the heat in the rooms on the front my daughter and her husband were unable to cool the room , when the staff were informed the only suggestion was they could have another fan ? Re circulating hot air doesn’t cool the room

The hotel had a very relaxed comfortable feeling, the staff were very helpful and supportive , the rooms were very well presented , I slept very well. The food was delicious my dinner was lovely and the breakfast was very good.

Very cool place to explore! The bar area is nice. Very nice, big, clean rooms. The Ghost Room is open 24-7! My husband had an experience with the resident ghost, Lady Isabella Shaw while sleeping. Vanilla perfume smell came through his CPAP.

Rooms were fabulous, fresh fluffy towels and a gorgeous big bed. Dinner was also excellent.

Our room was not made up after the first night. No fresh teabags, milk or water and cups and glasses from during the day were still there.

The lift was being repaired but climbing one flight of stairs was no big deal.

Local Northern Irish products used for a breakfast that was well arranged and efficiently served. The location looking out over the bay is spectacular.

I dont think there's anything to improve on

The location of the Ballygally Hotel is excellent its what a hotel should be. Excellent staff, food and location. The bedrooms are so comfortable and well presented. The gardens are a joy to walk around.

Superb room, super extra large comfortable bed, gorgeous duvet, modern bathroom. Staff so helpful & pleasant. Fantastic site across the road from beach. Breakfast tasty & lots if extras. Lovely gardens

Room was a bit on the warm side, no AC.

Great location right on the coast line, rooms with sea view are very good. A bit of road noise if you have the window open but the views are worth the odd passing car noise. Restaurant was very good for evening meal and breakfast was also good.

Location and setting were fantastic. Right on the causeway coastal drive. The journey was as beautiful as the setting. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful! Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and the castle portion of the hotel was enchanting. Our room had a beautiful view of the coastline.

No complaints really - we had a great stay there. The elevator wasn't working, but it didn't affect us and the staff helped others with their bags.

Breakfast wasn't included, so we didn't partake. But we had dinner there and it was quite good.

Couldn't fault it

The location is right on the beach with stunning views. The Hotel was modernised in a tasteful way so to keep the charm and offer luxury. The rooms were big and comfortable with everything you would expect. Breakfast was good and I loved the soda bread. The staff were constantly bring out well cooked fresh food.

It was very hot in the room and no aircon. We had a fan but it wasn't much use. The windows were locked and only opened slightly, so very little air got in. Also the lifts are out of action for refurbishment? But we were only on 1st floor so it was ok although I have back problems.

Lovely hotel - all very clean and good quality bedding etc. Food was excellent both times we ate, and the breakfast was good. Lovely garden to stroll through, and of course we loved the little beach.
