The room is slightly dated is all, still a great stay.

It is an ideal couple of night getaway for a small family , it was myself , partner and two year old - on site there is soft play , a swimming pool , cinema , nearby a wildlife park featuring polar bears. On site there is a decent enough Italian restaurant which is my son’s favourite type of food. Would recommend for couples with young kids.

Lots. On the basis of the price and marketing - I was expecting a lux experience, but that, it isn't. My room, although comfortable enough - was dated - and the public areas, corridors etc are really shabby. The gym (something I was looking forward to) was really poor, small, claustrophobic - and the sauna and steam room had more of the feel of a large public baths than an upmarket hotel. There was supposed to be an upmarket shopping experience on site, but that was closed. Tbh it isn't really a full service hotel. I had thought that this might be where the skiing crowd hang out - but no, apparently, they are all up a step in private chalets (I discovered, chatting to a few I met in town).

The staff were generally either excellent (eg at reception and on the bar), or at least good enough (breakfast service was slow but ok). My room was comfortable and clean, but fittings etc dated. Aviemore is a very good location, and for sure, this hotel is much better than a direct competitor nearby in Colyumbridge. The breakfast was good.

Cafe at the soft play wasn’t open. Was busy and everyone was looking for a coffee, or juice. Breakfast had a good selection but the cooked breakfast was quite cold.

Good size of room. Clean towels daily. Soft play, swimming and the gym were all great.

Tired looking in rooms and in the leisure facilities. Gym disappointing compared with pictures. Breakfast- appreciate buffet style always a challenge, but cooked elements only lukewarm at best.

Good for young children with facilities which as pool, outside playground and soft play area. Staff were good in the main - friendly and helpful.

Needed maintenance daily to top the hot water from the tap and shower up.Bit annoying when we wanted showers first thing or last thing at night.

The room was good for me and my daughter to stay in for 3 nights.Two single beds were comfortable and the room was nice and warm and very quiet even beside the car park that was directly in front of our window.

Friendly and efficient staff. Location location location. Facilities such as bar with large Screen for football matches. Snow and fab walks

Breakfast meat was barely warm. First day my coffee came out after I finished eating. Second day I got my coffee faster. Men’s toilets and showers were closed at the pool. That is unacceptable to expect a man to not have to run to his room to use the toilet when he is swimming on the other side of the hotel.

Bedding (it wasn't soft making it uncomfortable to sleep under). I found it too cold in the room. I was missing hooks in the room. No enough plugs. Jaccuzi wasn't on :(

Great location, swimming pool/soft play under the same roof. They gave us a room really close to the swimming pool (could go in my flip flops). Great size of the room. Sauna/steam room was a bliss.

The flat screen TV remote did not work on first getting into the room. The shower could not reach a warm enough temperature no matter how long it was left running. There were electrical sockets that were not properly fixed into the wall.

The room was very stylish, with good lighting, comfortable chairs and a good bed. There was typical tea and coffee facilities and a flat screen TV.

Pool area isn’t great. Second visit in a few months and both times jacuzzi was out of order and pool half full. Locker area and showers tired.

Mist of the on-site facilities were closed and only one restaurant was open. It may have not been the main session but want expecting as much closed. We also had noise issues with the fire door near our room having the soft close mechanism broken so everytime someone walked through it slammed shut. We mentioned this to the front desk after the first night and was told they would get maintenance to look at it but nothing changed while we were there.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Great location with the main Street in walking distance. Great pool and kids play area.

We had some mix up with the rooms and keys, so check-in wasn’t so seamless… the reception staff were super apologetic and helpful to get it sorted.

Great facilities! Located centrally backing onto a lovely nature reserve if you’re up for a relaxed hike.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed the food. It was in a great location and the staff were very helpful.

It is a little dated, but if you can see beyond that, it is a great hotel.

Location in central Aviemore with great access to the nearby Cairngorm Mountain Resort for skiing. The pool is fantastic with a flume and wave machine. The breakfast was good.

Some of the decor is needing updated. The hotel bar closes early for residents. The restaurant staff were quite abrupt
