Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomDifficulties with keycodes, we were in the room & another guest was given our room & keycode, they came in when we were in the room, we had Difficulties in sorting this out & it left us feeling quite unsettled & unsafe. Staff did change our key code quite promptly. At least 2 couples had Difficulties with the keycodes, had access to the building but not their room, this is an administrative issue. When you phoned the admin team they kept dropping the call, so you had to text them. Not good. Needs a room safe. Needs a none slip mat for the bath. Needs a tidy up outside. Could only boil the kettle when it was on the floor as the cord didn't reach the plug when it was on the shelf.
Location excellent 👌🏽 Within walking distance of some great bars, cafes & restaurants. Walking distance to most amenities. It was exceptionally clean, newly decorated. Abundance of hot water. Clean bedding & big soft bath towels. Good complimentary tray & toiletries too.

United KingdomSame as the other reviews, we had a lot of problems checking in. We received no email with check in information and when we arrived at the property we were two of five people who were also stuck outside. We spent around 15 minutes trying to contact the hotel and when we did finally get it, there was alot of confusion with code numbers and rooms. Also didn’t like how room pin codes were said out loud as we were two women traveling, but I imagine if we had received the check in email it would have been written down.
Bed and pillows were very comfy, loved the additional chocolates with the coffee station and was a great location, just a few minutes walk from the beach.

LatviaThe room was quickly losing heat and there was wind coming from the window frame. There was a heater, but it warms the small room up so quick that you can't keep it running all the time and also electricity is always on your mind. But the heat is gone just as fast as the heater warms it up, so you keep turning it on and off.
The place was clean, no bad smells, clean and fluffy towels. Duvet was big and warm.

United KingdomI was in room 6, very compact but kitted out nicely enough. However the radiator wasn't working so the room was very cold. The space is so restricted the bed blocks the entrance to the shower room. I did complain about the lack of heating and to their credit the operators offered me another room but I was out for the day so it wasn't convenient to swap. Think the point is make sure your radiators work! The bed also was a bit strange and I felt like I was sleeping on a slope.
Good location, close to the seafront and about 15 minutes walk to the centre. Easy to get into hotel and room using digital keypad.

EstoniaThe check in is not well arranged at all, we got there and the outside door was locked, stood there a while before someone randomly came and asjed if we didn't recieve the check in codes, which we didn't , the walls are super thin so an hour later we heard someone else have the same problem and they had to wait a while. The room was super tiny but managable and on our last morning there was a random fire alarm that blared for a bit

United KingdomWe didn't get the room that we actually booked, the light in the bathroom wasn't working either, then outside the door the roof leaked rain water, in the middle of the night the electricity went off and kept going on and off for almost an hour, an alarm also went off suddenly in the evening.
It was close to the sea, the TV had many good channels, the service was great and there were many accommodations.
