To improve the cabin could have block out curtains for the long daylight hours, but the host had left us sleep kits with eye masks which definitely helped

Beautiful quaint cabin in the middle of nature, perfect for our 2 night stay on Skye. Self-contained so we came prepared but the host had thought of everything we might need, from bath robes & slippers, a beautiful bottle of wine, sleep kit with eye mask for those long daylight hours, different hot drinks. It was perfect thank you so much!

Heidi was absolutely INCREDIBLE as a host! It was our honeymoon and she said she would leave a little something to help celebrate. We would have been grateful just for a card but she went above and beyond with wine, chocolates, balloons, and scattered petals.... AND she still left a beautiful card with it all! It blew us away. The retreat is beautiful and so cosy and comfortable, with all the facilities and amenities one could ask for. And the shower was incredible!

Everything was as expected and we enjoyed our stay here. There was a washing machine and washing powder, (no dryer) but our clothes did dry over the next day & night. We loved the remote location, the welcome touch of a complementary bottle of wine , beautiful bathrobes & amenities.

Our room was small and decor was tired

Great location, host left us balloons for our birthdays, the accommodation we stayed in was tired and a little small. As we were travelling with another couple we were in separate buildings, would of appreciated being next to each other as the rooms were better in the joint building

Nothing - be prepared for lots of driving as it is remote but this is part of the appeal of the property!

Perfect accommodation for our travels to Skye. We were travelling with a small dog and the hosts were very accommodating. It was really comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay, we could easily cook dinner every night and it provided an ideal location for exploring the Isle of Skye every day. Really peaceful and nice views.

It was the perfect place for a quiet and peaceful holiday and time out from all the tourists. Heidi went out of her way to make it a truly memorable and wonderful stay with decoration, welcome gifts and many thoughtful touches. She is an exceptional host. Comfortable and clean rooms, including bathrobes, and a lot of towels and slippers making it all the more cosy. The view was incredible and a lovely place to enjoy coffee, tea and food on the terrace. It is also easy to get to all sights nearby while enjoying a comfortable, peaceful and scenic rural setting. Highly recommend this chalet.

Couldn't get the stove to work to cook our breakfast. The only appliance we couldn't find instructions for. Perhaps some pegs, as we put our clothes on the maiden outside & had to ensure they didn't blow away. Place is a little tired, & could do with some TLC.

Location, location, location! Would have loved to have seen a view of more of the water, but the rolling hills, pretty houses & sheep made up for it. Very compact room, but works. Very warm, didn't feel at all cold. Did a load of washing on our arrival & all were dry in the morning. Lovely touch with the bottle of wine & chocolate Heidi left along with a postcard & note. Luxurious bathrobes, towels, slippers & hotwater bottles a nice touch. Beautiful woolen curtains & rug.

The B&B was perfect, but I would warn people to be careful driving on Skye as roads are largely single carriage with NUMEROUS potholes. Easily navigable but plan for added driving time.

The accommodation was standard en-suite, but all the little “extras” made all the difference. These included: great parking, a chilled bottle of wine and little chocolates on arrival, robes and house-shoes, little “sleep well” packet with eye mask and ear plugs, tea/coffee service, and LOTS of plugs!@

The external area for Aurora 2 was a little worn and not private - very close to Aurora 1. I would have liked to sit outside to eat to take full advantage of the amazing views but felt I couldn’t.

I liked the remoteness. Also the host had thought of little extras such as hot water bottles!

The bathroom was a tiny bit cold, but that's minor (the room heating works great, though!) It is a bit pricey, but that's probably due to the location and general availability of the accommodation around.

The place is equipped with everything you might think of. It is rather small, but totally ok for 2 people. You can see that the host is very attentive even though we did not personally meet. Slippers, bathrobes, extra blankets, hot water bottles if it gets too cold - just lovely. This would be a great place to stay for multiple nights.

Above and beyond our expectations! We were celebrating our anniversary and they even decorated the room with pink balloons and provided us champagne and chocolates! The view is stunning from the room with all the amenities we will ever need on this stay!
