Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SingaporeRating would be higher if not for issues with the original room i was given (toilet flush not working). I was then given an alternative room which was not up to scratch and only got a better room after complaining. Would have been nice if I did not have to complain. No issues as all was solved anyways after a few hours Only other (more minor) criticism is the breakfast vibe. Whilst the venue is nice and spread decent, it is too cramped and feels abit too much like a bazaar at peak hours

United KingdomThe electrics were old and the lighting was confusing to use. The modem for the TV kept over heating but once we had called the engineer out we realised it was the modem and then fixed it ourselves each time it went off .
As always the bed was very Comfy and this time the size of room was huge with a dressing area and accessible shower and bath ., A new and different but good selection at breakfast which was tasty and varied .Staff as usual very helpful and smiley.

We were there for our daughter's wedding on Saturday 15/6. We had the most wonderful day and all of the staff looking after us were truly professional, courteous and just so lovely. Our meal on the terrace was superb and afterwards we went to a quiet room behind the bar area and spent another two hours enjoying some music and fun.

Having had a wonderful experience at the Taj last year , we were very disappointed to find that it wasn’t as good this year . We had no milk in the room for our morning cuppa . They upgraded us as it was our wedding night which was lovely. The breakfast was delicious - so much food and different types of food so there are options for everyone.
