- The sea view is 10/10! 😍 - The apartment is located within walking distance to the harbour and a variety of restaurants and bars. - The kitchen was fully equipped. - The complimentary biscuits, tea, coffee, and milk were a really nice touch. - We were really pleased with the hosts and the personal communication we received from them even though we booked via booking.com.

I loved everything about Astor house itself but the walk back up the hill to get to the apartment could be very tiring for older people or families with pushchairs (I'm being very picky)

We stayed at Astor house in room 16a if I remember rightly (top floor with sea views) for 2 nights from the 31/5/24-2/6/24. Our 1 bedroom apartment was spotless upon arrival. The interior was modern, aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Situated in a perfect location with stunning views, I would happily live there permanently. I would most certainly recommend Astor house to anyone travelling to Torquay. Thanks for making our weekend even more enjoyable! I would love to stay at Astor house again! 10/10

Lovely apartment, felt very at home. Superb views over the bay. Everything you could need on arrival is there for you. Timed it perfectly for the airshow too! Our 2nd stay will definitely stay again.

We where very Lucky that we fron-seat with a view over the harbour and watched the airshow with the Red Arrows!! \stunning view and close to beach and harbour. we had dinner twice at Pierre restaurant, 2 mintus from our house.

The kitchen extraction hood was making a loud noise, so we had to switch it off. When I reported the issue, they promptly offered to send an engineer to fix it, but we preferred not to have any work done while we were relaxing in the apartment.

Note that there are no car park spaces reserved for the property and one has to park on the street where the apartment is located. It may be difficult to find free spaces nearby on busy days.

Location is great, overlooking the bay. Very clean, has all you need for the stay, good living room plan, big balcony, detailed instructions for getting there, codes usage, etc.

We are in our 70's and the hill up too the apartment was very steep. After walking round torquay for the day it was a bit of a struggle.

The apartment was clean, the views were brilliant the location was perfect. Everything that we needed was in the flat.

Wish I had known what the view from the front was going to be like and I would have chosen a room with a sea view but garden view was okay.

The shower was extremly small. Did not felt comfortable to wash my long hair there. I got a punch of emails including too much information. It was very difficult to find the needed.... How to check out for example? Where should I leave the keys?

There was a street view insteas a garden view I was expecting. The apartment was as in description. And very tidy. All the needed was available and the location was excellent! Enjoyed my short vacation and would book again!

Fantastic location, waking up to the sea view in the lounge with the huge windows was such a great way to start the day, and watching the sunset and lights around the seafront at night was very relaxing. The room was so quiet couldn’t hear any of the other guests. Very clean and nice to have use of the washing machine so we didn’t have to pack too many clothes.

Only the Yale lock on the Apartment door works & that feels a little flimsy..the deadlock doesn’t work. However security to the building is excellent so wasn’t a major drama, would just give extra piece of mind.
