Lovely friendly welcome. Comfortable sea view room. Ample free parking. Bathroom could do with an upgrade but was clean. Really tasty breakfast. Woukd definitely stay here again.

Very cold in one of the rooms with a heater than didn’t give out enough heat. Beds hard and mattresses not supportive unfortunately.

Irene was very welcoming and really helpful. Good that it had a lift for less able people who can’t do stairs to upper floors.

If I had to pick anything, It's a bit dated in places but that didn't detract

Great position and modernised but with a nod to the past. Fabulous view and easy walk to the beach. Great staff serving a really good breakfast. Easy parking. A little gem

No on site parking. It was advertised but parking was on the road. We were lucky that there was a space nearby when we arrived. A leak from the ceiling in the room meant we were then rushed to leave on the Sunday morning.

Very comfortable. The breakfast was really good. Great location for walking to the town and to the Exmouth Pavilion which was the reason for our stay.

Unfortunately the bed was very squeaky/creeky, as was the floor in the room which was a shame. Also, the corridor was very loud at night time, which I understand can't be helped due to it being an old building and other guests staying, but it kept me awake. Sadly I was awake every hour due to these 2 things. Also, the corridor on our floor was being decorated I think, so there were paintbrushes and tools all out on the floor in the hallway, as well as hanging leads and even an alcoholic drink! There was also mould in our room and the decor left much to be desired but, again, I know it's an older property.

I stayed for one night and it was a nice welcoming stay. The view from our room was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and flexible and the breakfast was nice.

The only thing we would have liked available would have been a dimmer switch for the bedroom wall lights...and that's it, that's us being very picky!

Lovely hotel and lovely staff. We had a such a nice stay. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was perfect, the bar room so very well decorated, very stylish!

We couldn't get the shower to work due to the plunger that diverts the water from the bath taps to the shower head being defective. The staff at breakfast did what they had to do but weren't friendly or even smiley at all. The coffee at breakfast was very weak (tasteless).

Great location. The receptionist was brilliant, very attentive, and helpful. She couldn't do enough for us. Lovely bar area. The price was very good value for money Breakfast was very good.

The mattress could perhaps do with a replacement and the decor might be viewed as a bit faded, but neither affected my excellent stay

A small single bed room had everything I needed for an overnight stay, including a desk, full sized bath and shower over. Excellent breakfast.

We had a sea view room which was wonderful, room was warm and comfortable and breakfast was very good. We parked directly outside the hotel so very convenient and a short walk into town.

Just the disappointing view from our window.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable but the view of some old garages was a little disappointing, not the garden we were expecting.
