Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Colin was very helpful and gave me an excellent room that was spacious, clean and really comfortable. I had to book an extra 2 nights and he was able to let me stay in the same room which was amazing. Great parking options.

United KingdomThe mattresses are VERY soft and the pillows are big. Luckily we had 2 beds in our room as sharing would have been difficult due to the softness. If mattresses cannot be replaced, providing some thinner pillows would help with neck issues!
Well equipped rooms, ours felt spacious and light, quiet building and around, good value for money (we went in March so "winter prices") and dog friendly which is vital for us

United KingdomThe building was like a hotel but with studio apartments, very private, I stayed here during my paramedic placements so was doing shift work. Colin greeted me when I arrived to give me the code and show me round, he was lovely. Everything was good and I had a great stay. Blackout blinds, quiet and everything was clean and comfy. I had a problem with a guest opposite playing music at 5am Sunday morning however I text Colin and he came and sorted it within 2 minutes of texting him, nothing was too much for him and said to ring or text if I ever had a problem or needed anything. Thanks so much, I would stay again!

North MacedoniaHowever, as there're many people that stay long term, many didn't clean after themselves in the kitchen, so it was dirty sometimes.
Rooms are excellent for what you pay. The beds are soooo comfortable. We stayed for a month and we also used the shared kitchen which is modern and equipped very well. The area is quiet away from the city's business. Staff is brilliant! Thanks Colin and Matthew for a great stay. We would recommend.

Hong Konga quiet neighborhood, convenient by public transportation, a supermarket round the corner. shared Full kitchen available and washing machine provided. The place is good for long term stay. The staff was attentive and took care of all I need. I asked for a hair dryer and he delivered to my room promptly. He also helped to keep the shared kitchen clean.
