Superb host very welcoming clean comfortable room mentioned on form I was gluten free gluten free biscuits in room was a very thoughtful touch super service with very nice breakfast very good choice would definitely recommend.

It was difficult to find and although car parking was available we found it hard to access. We arrived about 10 minutes early but got the impression this was not appreciated.

A pleasant stopover from Scotland. Very clean and comfortable. Tasty breakfast but a buffet style starter would have been good. Appreciated the oat milk provided. It was a good place to go from the next morning to see the delights of the lake district as we made our way south.

Our host Phil and his wife were lovely, welcoming. The room was clean, breakfast amazing. The security was top notch. Attention to every detail, they didn't miss a thing when it came to their guests. Great location to their village.

Very limited window for breakfast where more flexibility could be shown for late risers.

Nice clean room well presented. Lovely breakfast with ample portions. We had a tasty salmon and scrambled eggs option. Helpful and friendly host. Exclusive parking area.

We can honestly say that we have no complaints at all about Ashberry House.

Great location easy 5 minute walk into town of Penrith. Very comfortable room and excellent facilities. Hosts are so welcoming and ready to recommend local places to eat or visit. On site parking for cars is very convenient. Breakfast is delicious and a great choice of breakfasts too.

Fabulous location for the town and as a base for the lakes or a stopping off point. Private car park. Our hosts Phil & Vanda were super friendly and informative and the room was absolutely first class. The breakfast was top notch in both quality and cooking. Highly recommended.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. They checked regularly that everything was OK. All areas of the hotel are super clean. There is plenty of choice for breakfast, and it is very good. The hotel is quiet and is only a short walk from the heart of Penrith.

We received a very warm welcome on arrival, the room was very clean and comfortable with a super en suite shower. The guesthouse was only a short walk into the centre of Penrith & very easy to access from the motorway. The breakfast was lovely, with a very good selection available.
