Just a couple of little niggles - some of the blinds in the flat do not close properly and need replacing, TV did not work as batteries in the remote were dead and there were no spares. Reserved parking spot is underground, which was not clear from the instructions. Spaces are quite tight, and there is not much height clearance when parking.

Our second stay. Great location overlooking the marina, short walk into town centre. Flat is clean, comfortable and spacious (1 double, 1 twin, 2 bathrooms, kitchen / lounge / dining room and balcony). Oven as well as hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. Bed linen & towels provided, plus shower gel etc and coffee / tea / sugar. Free parking just opposite.

Arrival Instructions were a little vague. For example, tell people that the allotted parking space is in the basement, that outside entry to the flats is via the little disc on the key chain, and that the apartment is on the 5th floor (though there is a lift). TV remote not working. Noise from restaurant staff on ground floor of block late at night.

Lovely spacious and well-equipped apartment and fantastic location right opposite the Arena. Very comfortable. Lovely view, only of the marina, not the beach, as advertised. Good WiFi. Lift.

We went to check in at 4.30 but the key wasn’t in the key safe, I had to call the manager who let me know the cleaner was still in the flat and they then brought the key out. The instructions for the building are quite vague as there are lots of flats and buildings in the area. There also wasn’t anything to tell us the flat was on floor 5. Parking instructions were also very vague, you have to use the fob to open the shutters to go to the basement of the car park - I found this out by reading reviews rather than instructions from the property manager. The flat needed a bit of TLC, it wasn’t particularly clean, had quite a few light bulbs not working, bathroom extractor fans not working and was missing things like batteries for remotes, empty hand soap and used open toiletry bottles in the showers, and all of the blinds were broken.

The location, view and size of the apartment and bedrooms was great.

First of all, the instructions to finding the property were non existent. We assumed it would be in the same block as where the key was. We walked round for ages wasting time until we found someone to help us. The car park instructions were also poor. It didn’t say to go to the bottom floor and use the key fob to open the shutters. The twin bedroom is very basic. There is no mirror and the lighting is poor. The bathroom lighting is very dull too. There is no toaster in the kitchen which is an essential appliance. Most of the blinds were broken and looked very untidy.

The apartment was amazing! Spacious, clean and a great location. We had a great weekend and we would stay again.

Collecting keys from their 'hiding' place is not that easy. There are limited places to pull in to access the key boxes, which are a little way from the flat. Parking although free is not close to the flat, but over the road and quite difficult to access, so if you are bringing provisions, or find difficulty walking long distances, it's a long way to transport. We parked in the car park next to the flat on Trawler Road, which cost £5 a day. There is a lift to the flat, however you need to climb several steps to get to the front door. There is a car park under the building and we have surmised that if you had access to this car park the lift would take you straight from the car park to the flat. We were puzzled as to why the flat parking was not provided underneath the building, opening this lovely flat up to disabled/wheelchair users. There is no ordinary toaster in the property. A sandwich toaster is supplied, but you can't do your morning toast in this. There was insufficient cutlery for 4 people and only 1 frying pan, 1 large saucepan and 1 'rusty' looking oven tray, so self catering was difficult. We could not afford to eat out every night. There are no instruction manuals for the equipment available in the flat or a welcome folder with information. These are small things that do not take too much time to correct. The double bedroom shown in the Booking.com info shows access on both sides of the bed. This is not the case and access to the left side is very limited due to an overlarge bedside cabinet on the right side pushing the bed very close to the wall. Squeezing down the small gap, with a 'gammy' leg, (as I could not climb over the bed), was difficult each night.

Large flat. Lovely view. Good heating. Access to a small supermarket is very close, as are pubs and eateries. There were a number of small problems, which I have detailed below. Should the owners consider correcting these the stay would have been improved.

Blinds are a bit of a faff ,some need replacing. We left the key in the box ,as instructed but cleaner couldn't find the keys 2 hours later...we returned to check if the keys were there and they still were..not sure how the confusion arose. All sorted in the end.

Description was given for where to collect the keys. But not that the apartment itself was in a different building. No directions were given for where the flat was. So had to phone and got given a confusing set of instructions for how to locate the property. Eventually found it about 20 minutes later. A clear map with where the keys were located and where the property was would have helped immensley! Facilities were a bit basic and a few things lacking. Would have liked to have had a Caftiere coffee maker and a toaster! Also the refridgerator was turned off when we arrived and there were no tablets for the dishwasher. Blinds in the living room were damaged and missing so couldn't be closed all the way. But overall it was very good, but just a few things missing that would have made it an excellent place to stay.

Excellent location, close to the seaside and centre of town. A lovely big apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Comfy lounge and bedroom. Very clean. Lovely view of the balcony.
