I have been to a Hyatt hotel in Mecca which is a real 5*. I would rate this an excellent 4* hotel. No complimentary water. The staff looked like they were working in a bank- there wasn't a welcoming atmosphere. The towels didn't have a fresh smell. The shower is not modern and water leaks from the sides of the bathtub. No bellboy to help with luggage - although I must commend a female staff that saw me struggling with luggage and 2 kids and offered to help before her male colleague took over. No child eateries around. But it was clean and safe and I will stay again overnight to be close to airport.

I moved into the hotel 2 days before we left London so we could take the kids to Legoland. It was clean, safe and the location was perfect for what we wanted. Everything necessary worked well also.

The hotel felt somewhat rundown, and the facilities were below what I'd expected of a Hyatt hotel. When I tried calling room service, it took a couple of tries for them to pick up.

Convenient location: we arrived late at night and this was good enough as a place to stay a night near the airport. Especially appreciated the front desk staff: the night we checked in, the staff tried his best to give us two rooms near each other, even upgrading one of the rooms to a better room to do so. In the morning, when we were looking for alternative options to the hotel breakfast, another member of the staff recommended a nearby breakfast shop that was a 5 minute walk away. Food was good and certainly much cheaper than hotel breakfast.

Right near LHR, which was our goal. The restaurant was good and the staff friendly. We weren’t expecting as spacious a room, since it was just an overnight before flying in the morning.

£17.50 per person for breakfast. Hotel hopper bus comes once an hour and goes to Terminals 1, and 2 etc before Terminal 5 so it takes over 30 minutes. Public transit buses also go towards Terminal 1 etc from outside hotel same side of street as hotel.

At the end of our stay in the UK we checked into the hotel, then returned the rental car. we could walk back to hotel. We walked to a restaurant for dinner. For our flight next morning we took the public transport bus from across the street 6 minutes to BA Terminal 5. £1.75 contactless payments on board. Runs every 20 minutes..so convenient. Tea and coffee in the room.

Getting there from Heathrow by bus takes a bit of time and was quite a struggle for us

They find it difficult to manage customers in the evening time, when there is rush and had to say customers that there is no place to sit and serving you will be difficult. Customer has to somehow manage on his own by requesting or sharing. As they are short of staff, customers had to collect designated water bottles for the day from reception everyday themselves. In case he/she forgets to pick up his lot, reception tells him or her to come down and pick up bottles. In case they are short of staff, they should be careful enough to apprise all the customers about the rules management have set in during check-in so that customers become used to all that and so will never mind.

Room was good with almost all amenities. It was very quiet and peaceful.

The only thing that I do not like about this hotel is that they have tubs in the bathroom which are very slippery when wet and the mat that they provide to assist with this doesn’t feel 100% secure. I think it’s about time that the hotel refurbish the bathrooms to include tiled showers.

The location being right outside of Heathrow Airport is very convenient. I have stayed at this hotel twice now and was pleased with my stay each time.

The mattress was soft unfortunately. Everything else was great.

I understand that you can’t have enough adapters for everyone, but you could have them on sale for those coming from Europe. And keep in mind that you can only get to the hotel from the airport by taxi, walking is not an option

I can say that it was a standard good airport hotel, nothing to complain about. I had a very early flight and wanted to spend as much time as possible walking around London, so I only spent the night at the hotel. And thank you that I was able to leave my luggage before check-in, it freed my hands for a walk
