The room size seemed small. Squashed in furniture wise

The breakfast selection was great, the staff even let us use our own tea bags (Yorkshire tea). The room was alot smaller than we expected considering we had stayed with the sister Argyll hotel on the opposite side of the road 2 years ago.

Bit more space in the rooms.

The breakfast was great and very nice staff. Nice clean room. Nice ensuite bathroom with clean towels. Quiet at night so I was able to get a good nights sleep. Would have been nice with a bit bigger room. Overall though this is my favourite place to stay when in the West End of Glasgow.

The single beds were a little short in length, but comfortable . If you slept on the bed by the window, it was a little drafty.

It was very close to a couple of great pubs and an Indian restaurant that were all in walking distance. So close to Kelvington art gallery too. The staff were very welcoming… especially Emma who had gone to university where we live in Victoria B.C.!!

Could have done with more plug points around the room rather than all in the same place. Better lighting at the mirror. Floor needed levelling.

Friendly & helpful staff, good location, ideal for what we were looking for. Triple room was a decent size.

The Argyll is a nice and comfortable hotel in a quiet residential area close to the beautiful Kelvingrove Park, museums and the university. The furniture was a bit outdated, but everything was clean and coffee/tea amenities were provided and stocked up every day. Great for a few days to explore Glasgow!

The room was terribly small. There was someone at the reception on Thursday (22nd Feb 2024)and he was rude and pretended as if he owned the hotel. Mind it I only asked if I could get a plate. May be the owners could provide him with some training

At my check-in, I was greeted by Keeran at the reception. He was all polite with a smile and kind throughout by stay. Same goes with staff at the breakfast time, they all were fabulous. The room was immaculate and loved the pressure from the shower.

Had a couple of towels with large holes in. It wasn't a big issue, but the other towels I had looked much newer, so the staff maybe need to be a little more selective and sort out and remove the holey towels! Tiny wall hung television that I needed a pair of binoculars to see from the bed. But again I could easily live with it! Had a single room on 4th floor with only one window, a high velux window in the roof, that I couldn't look out of, but could just about open and shut standing up on my toes. Again this wasn't a big issue for me. A wall/desk light next to the desk/teatray would have been useful and would have brightened up a rather dark corner of the room. There is no clothes hook on back of bathroom door. A hook would be useful to hang a towel or clothes on when taking a shower and easy to reach when coming out of the shower. At present a towel has to be draped over the hand basin, which can make the towel or clothes wet.

The excellent value for money! I paid £124 for 3 nights in a single room with a superb full breakfast buffet included in the price. The staff were helpful and friendly, both at the reception desk and in the dining room. The chef made delicious creamy porridge especially for me! Excellent sausages and delicious meaty bacon! Lovely sour dough bread! Very clean and tidy hotel. The bathroom was lovely and looked newly decorated. Very clean! Spacious shower cabin with excellent showerhead and bright shiny white tiled walls. Instant hot water in shower cabin. Shower gel provided.
