Checkin wasn’t until 3pm and checkout 10.30am. £30 for late checkout after the huge cost already for these rooms. A very expensive stay for less than 24 hours and sadly a one off due to this fact.

A complementary glass of Prosecco to start your stay was a nice touch. Modern room with very comfy round bed. The hot tub was already to use at 37 degrees, and was very relaxing. The spa bath was luxurious too. A large TV with netflix, a great touch. All in all a very enjoyable and relaxing room. The breakfast delivered to your room was also excellent with lots of choice. You won’t be disappointed if you want a relaxing stay.

The only downfall I would say would be the breakfast portion, for what you’re paying per night I don’t think 1 sausage and 1 slice of bacon and 4 little mushrooms was justifiable.

not really 5 star. £15pp for breakfast which was very limited. one sausage, one egg, etc etc and not much flexibility if you wanna change things. extra charges for logs for the fire. That’s a selling point of the room, why charge for logs If you’re 5 star?

Very disappointed with cost of the room to have very little luxury’s and not supplied with dressing gowns face cloths and extra towels which should be already in your room as standard!! especially when you have an hot tub !! Sunday we stopped at a lot cheaper property for the night and the said items above where in the room with a bottle of champagne on arrival .

There is everything to like about the property, private garden with hot tub and sauna and private car park.

The place itself was fab but if I was being picky I’d say the pebbled pathway to the cabin was a little difficult to manoeuvre on with suitcases.

The love shack was much larger than expected and the sauna was a brilliant addition to the hot tub which we definitely made the most of!

Hot tub could do with being updated as was abit old and bits falling off but didn't ruin our stay!

Room was fabulous and the hot tub was a nice treat, the staff were lovely and when we called for some extra milk to make some more tea it was brought to our door within 10minutes. Loved breakfast in bed too.

When booking the hotel, I wanted to make a few add on requests as this was a romantic get away and also partners birthday surprise I contacted the hotel and to add a few things to the room and I can pay on arrival the staff we're very polite and friendly which made our stay more likeable the room and out door jacuzzi was amazing everything was perfect.

The only criticism which is a very small one was that the couch wasn’t big enough for us to both sit on and watch the tv and be comfortable but only a minor thing

I’d ordered ( paid for in advance) 3 separate treat/optional extras packages to be in the room on arrival as it was a surprise treat for my husbands birthday, however only 1 of the 3 packages was there do I had to go & ask for the other 2 which ruined the surprise element. The man on reception did apologise & brought them very quickly but there was no partial refund or extras etc to compensate, this left me feeling disappointed due to his much effort I’d put into arranging it. Aldi the red rose room was shown to have a spa bath in both the photos & description but it was actually a sunken bath with no spa function - still quite cool but not what i expected from room description.

The Grand Spa suite was absolutely wonderful. Having the sauna and hot tub facilities allowed us to really relax and unwind whilst looking out onto a peaceful and tranquil forest.

The toilet has no privacy, if you was sitting down stairs you can hear the person upstairs on the toilet, maybe a little privacy if your having a number 2

We booked a fairly last minute stay to celebrate our upcoming wedding anniversary, and being heavily pregnant I was looking for somewhere cosy, relaxing and rejuvenating. We were ever so kindly given a complimentary upgrade to the Elysian, and our suite was absolutely stunning. Incredibly spacious, modern and comfortable. I loved the thoughtful extras, like the ice machine and the 'proper' coffee machine with milk frother! The view across the balcony onto the fields was beautiful, and really set the scene when relaxing in the hot tub. The lovely breakfast was easily ordered via a QR code from the room, and delivered to the room in the morning - big portions, kept us full all day! The bed was incredibly comfortable - no easy feat at this stage of my pregnancy, and was greatly appreciated to have been given extra pillows as requested (pillows also incredibly soft!). We paid the extra for the late checkout, which made the stay feel far less rushed in the morning. The staff were lovely and friendly, and we would absolutely love to stay here again and be able to fully appreciate the sauna and hot tub etc. Thank you for our much needed break!
