Kitchen needs renovation bathroom needs tarting up ,needs shower curtain. Parking space difficult to find

Got what you paid for.if the hosts could spend a few hundred quid on the place i.e. the kitchen and bathroom,new handle on the window etc would make it more attractive,comfortable beds. Indian restaurant nextdoor Chinese takeaway across the road,dessert shop nearby, all open till late, okay for a 2 night stopover

Filthy! The sofa had a massive stain on it which looked like someone been having sex on it. Rotten food in the cupboard & the oven had no numbers on the knobs on the cooker. Bathroom light didn’t work & the mold around the bath was black & disgusting. There was an iron burn on the carpet & blood drips on the carpet in one bedroom. People in the back alley swearing & being really loud at 2am which just isn’t on. No bathmatt, no bin lid & the list goes on. I may be a contractor but this was by far the worst place I have stayed in 20 years working away. I feel robbed to be honest & that property need a mega overhaul very quickly if he wishes to carry on letting this.

The major problem with the apartment is that there is no parking and as it's on a busy road it was difficult to unload our car.

When we arrived (December 2nd) the heating wasn't working. To the hosts credit he arranged a repair within an hour. We returned to the apartment after a night out with the heating fully on and no understanding of how to turn the heating off or use the boiler controls for the morning as there were no instruction manuals available and going online was a chore. The booking information did not state there was a kitchen bizarrely as we would have taken some basic breakfast things. There was no plug in the bathroom sink so if you wanted a shave you'd struggle. There is plenty of hanging space in the main bedroom The general presentation felt clean but the apartment as a whole is very tired, the bed is awful - two single mattresses joined together and the bathroom could do with a makeover. Instructions for the heating system please though!

It needs a serious spruce up and some extra kitchen utensils etc. only one towel for each person to use over 4 days so an extra towel each and a hand towel would be great

Terrible damp in the wardrobe gave a damp musty smell to the whole flat. No bath mat or non slip mat in the shower were dangerous. Mattresses were tired and creaky.

Reading the rules on the sheet provided by the host. It said one of the rules was keep the place clean and tidy. No hoover in the property No cleaning products, I had to buy all my own Loads of dust or similar on top of fridge freezer Nail/ screw in one of the lower cupboards kept getting my finger on it Faded symbols on the cooker couldn't work out what everything said ended up ovening and grilling the food for tea every night No fire extinguishers or fire blankets anywhere in the property only realised this when boiling vegetables and it being a glas hob for safety reasons No plugs for any of the sinks in the property Crack in the bathroom sink The small light over the bathroom cupboard was temperamental sometimes I couldn't get it off easily Bedside lights in the master bedroom not working had to put the phone torch on and turn the big light off every night Plug sockets in the master bedroom opposite the bed rather than next to the bed Had some difficulty closing the windows in the master bedroom and living room

The main dislike was the toilet kept blocking. Nor did it flush properly when I had unblocked it. The bathroom had an odor to it. The Two twin beds were uncomfortable, yo could feel the springs of the mattress through them. The sofa bed, although pulled out could not really be slept on because the frame between the seats was metal and could be felt as you lay on it. The floor had not been vacuumed and there were sweets found on the floor from the previous people. The tap in the kitchen sink dripped when not in use and leaked when it was in use. I notified the owner of the toilet situation who offered to get a plumber out at "the earliest convenience" we did not see a plumber throughout our entire stay. Our stay was cut short due to the toilet situation. The front door did not lock from either the outside or the inside despite having the key. I am not a complainer and do not try and find fault with everything but I think I would have rather camped in a tent then here.

The table legs were broken I had to try and make it so it wouldn't fall on my 1 year old. The mattress was so over used I had to put the duvet and the spare one I found in the cupboard underneath me to find any sort of comfort. Luckily it was warm enough for just a blanket. The sofa again had little to no comfort, just over use I would assume. There was also an issue with the living room door not closing properly without having to slam it. Even the ubank provided for cleaning didn't work. That side of things left a lot to be desired.

Love the price, love the location the flat itself is big enough for purpose and I literally like the layout. This is my second stay in these apartments. Last year I was on the 1st floor. I would probably stay again as I love the location and the fact that it is close to local amenities. The price is also relatively fair too. As I spent most of my time outside sight seeing and meeting up with old friends this apartment works great as a base to just come back, cook and sleep in. If I were going to be spending more time 😀 in my accommodation then I would probably stay elsewhere.

the house was untidy, stank of cigarette smoke and curry, the walls are dirty, the carpet is dirty, the bathroom is dirty, the curtains are dirty. the kitchen was incredibly basic but actually not terribly dirty. there is a small tv stuck to the wall in the lounge that's so far off to the side of the room that it's not really usable, trying to move it looks like it'll just fall off the wall.

Hygiene!!! - The mold in the bathroom was too much for me. The ceiling was almost black above the shower area and some joints were more black than white. - Also the rubber edge of the refrigerator was ripped and not clean (it still did work, but probably not as environmental as could be). - The table in the living area was not stable, you can not lean your elbows on it while sitting down. - The light in the bathroom did not work after the first night and did not get fixed while we were there. Luckily we brought a flashlight with us. - The bed lights in the bigger bedroom were not plugged, but on empty batteries and therefore hardly worked. There is no wall outlet on the headboard side (not a problem, just good to know)A broken plank in the small cabinet in the big bedroom (not a problem, just sloppy). - When we took out plates and bowls from the kitchen, we first had to clean them, there was also only 1 knife.

The location for us was great, one of the reasons we booked this. WIFI was working great.

The apartment lacked basic amenities as listed at the time of booking. It seems that it was not made ready to host. Cleanliness was also an issue... especially the sofa cum bed looks old and dirty. The beds were also not very comfortable. The place was very noisy all the time. In day because of a primary school near by and in night, due to hotel next door. Its certainly not soundproof as claimed in the details.

Outside apartment - Parking was an absolute nightmare and lots of cigarette ends on floor near communal door entrance Inside apartment - False plants on the stairs had been tampered with so all the decorative balls were scattered everywhere so potential trip hazard and safety issue. Not enough plates and cutlery in kitchen and bathroom was extremely damp whereby floor was uneven due to damp in flooring and damp patches all around the bath. The bath was also dirty with grime.

The bathroom was very tired. It was not very clean. The toilet flush did not work properly. The toilet roll holder was hanging off the wall as was the towel holder. The toilet seat was only held on one side. The bathroom shelf was only held up with some pot otherwise that would have fallen off too. Floor tiles were missing. The kitchen cutlery was dirty. The bed in the lounge had no sheet. The dining table was so loose we were afraid to touch it as it had a glass top. Several picture hooks missing a picture. The mattress someone else mentioned a while ago that is out the back is still there. Seemed that having to be out by 9 am smacks of getting the most money for the shortest stay. I did get one reply from the owners about getting access to the keys, so there's a positive.

Location was very good for our needs. Two out of the three bedrooms were quiet at night.

The mattresses were clearly extremely old and over used, getting any type of sleep was impossible. The fridge wasn't on so it was smelly, the boiler was leaking. The table in the living room was completely unstable. The couch again over used and uncomfortable.

Love that we Had an apartment to ourselves, loved the location.

I don't like my review to be like this, but I have to say this. There was no elevator, so you have to walk up the stairs with your luggage to your floor. The beds in the other room were not comfy, you can feel the pain and the noise when you are sitting on them. There was leftover food from the previous guests in the fridge and the toilet drain was smelling bad and the smell was coming out to the rest of the house when opening the door.

The house was ok, especially the main bedroom was comfortable, the kitchen, and the living was fantastic. The apartment was so big, I loved it.

It wasn’t exceptional clean, and an extra towel for handwash and something for mopping the bathroom floor would be nice.

We really wanted to stay in that neighbourhood, so the location was perfect, and it was quite spacious. Kitchen seemed to be very well-equiped.
