No car parking at the property however there was a pay and display car park a short distance away. No cooked breakfast however a complimentary continental breakfast was provided.

Staff were very friendly. Excellent selection of beer in the bar. Room was clean and comfortable

Not what I expected It should be advertised as rooms not a hotel There was no reception and the staff were very polite The pub closed at 10pm and we let ourselves in through a back door in an alley There was no water in the room Breakfast was left in a basket outside the door As the pub is closed and this is the only option The stay was just ok for one night as we had met friends in Knutsford for a meal I think for what’s on offer it’s over priced

The floorboards/joists were very squeaky, both in my rooms and the rooms above. Appreciate there’s likely nothing that can be done due to the age of the building.

Great location. Staff were very welcoming when I arrived. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Tv had access to apps like netflix etc which was nice in the evenings. The complimentary continental breakfast was a nice touch (cereal, milk, a packaged croissant, an apple, and an orange). The room had a kettle with coffee/milk sachets and a couple of packets of biscuits which was also nice.

We stayed 7 or 8 years ago when it had just had a great refurbishment. The rooms are a good size but now look a little in need of a freshen up. They were clean though, with a good shower and comfortable bed.

Close to all the cafes, pubs and restaurants and minutes walkable to the fabulous Tatton Park. Staff were great. Now allow dogs in certain rooms which we love and the reason we returned.

There was nothing I could say that I didn’t like about this stay. The property is an old building and quirky which I loved and it had many creaky floorboards which would be expected, but our room was 1st floor and through doors to other rooms and very early in the morning it was very loud with the constant creaking floor past our room and from rooms above as guests walked around their rooms, including ours, which couldn’t be helped and it didn’t spoil our stay. Just a thought maybe for the property.

This property was excellent from the minute we walked in to be greeted by James the excellent bar staff, he was so courteous and informative and welcoming. There’s also was a another you g girl bar staff who was all so lovely. The rooms where comfortable and clean and the bed was so comfy. We where there for a family wedding in Colshaw hall and the location was excellent. Parking was good even though we had to park in a car park 5 mins away it was still easy to park and bring in our luggage. The staff where amazing thank you to you all.

No arrangements made with adjacent businesses to park temporarily nearer the hotel while quickly unloading and loading luggage etc. No real signage for where to check in. Not made aware of customer WiFi name and password on arrival.

Good location in the heart of Knutsford. Nice big comfortable bed. Lovely shower.

Very creaky floorboards so could hear other guests. Dodgy toilet flush.

Staff very accommodating. Asked for gluten free breakfast and did their best at short notice. Good pub downstairs. Excellent location.
