We found the card-locks temperamental at first, but it got easier. Very few large trees except the Fairy Oak. This is definitely rewilding, rather than rewilded--it's still a work in progress. Breakfast was the weak point. We missed porridge or any sort of hot breakfast, though we understand you can't staff a full kitchen. We would have preferred good local Scottish morning rolls to supermarket croissants.

Most of all, I savoured the quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot. The graded walks are useful, though we underestimated our capabilities.

The key safe code wasn’t emailed. With poor telephone signal it was difficult to phone the duty manager & frustrating to wait for duty manager to arrive & hand in key cards. Shower gel wasn’t provided in the bathroom Only one set of towel was provided for 2-night stay

It was very cold our first night as the heating was off. Although it was June the temperature fell to 4 degrees. After speaking to the property manager the following day the heating problem was rectified and the accommodation.was nice & warm again. I really liked the accommodation however the beds take up quite a bit of room so there is not a lot of room to get out of bed but other than that very comfortable.

Beautiful location and facilities with breakfast served in a lovely cafe just a 2 minute lovely walk from the accommodation area. Great walks around to explore the wildlife. The accommodation was lovely and quiet with everything you need. The shared kitchen area is a great place to relax and meet with the other guests. Good storage and drying facilities are available for cyclists and walkers.

Water pressure in the shower

Nice room, simple but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was continental, but it was nice. Location is good if you are visiting the Highlands for a couple of days and want to see a lot of the different main things as it's about an equal distance from a lot of them.

Slightly awkward to arrive, and unload your stuff, and then drive back on to the main road to get to the proper car park, but to be fair, the manager did not insist on this on arrival

It was in the middle of nowhere, which was great, but you really need a car because there is no buses or trains. The only way you can get anywhere is by taxi. Also, need a TV and perhaps a microwave or a cooker. But it had a kitchen you cam make a drink.
