There was only one towel provided. We didn't ask for it to be rectified as we were running short on time so just used the small cafe one

Had a couple of problems with the doors when we were there but it didn't spoil our holiday.

Lovely stylish hotel within easy walking distance of the shops and nightlife of Manchester. With a train station and lots of bus stops in the near vicinity we were able to easily travel to the Trafford Centre and other attractions that weren't within walking distance.

    The breakfast selection wasn’t great.

It’s a beautiful building, has great rooms, the staff were great and the Angel suite was comfortable.

Bed was a bit too soft for our liking, no fridge in the room but their 'mini bar' offered canned drinks, aircon unit is a mystery to operate, no manual available, towels were linty, TV too small for the size of the room, never seemed to have any staff available at front desk.

Location is great, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Local transit right outside and just around the corner from Piccadilly. Room was spacious and quiet, excellent rain forest shower. Hotel offers discounted parking rate for nearby Citipark.

Was asked for card long number for deposit but wasn’t advised in advance. Got no card with me. Didn’t accept apply pay for deposit. Toilet smelled bad. Tv was very small.

Good location. Spacious room. Big comfy bed. Good shower setting that the switches are on the other side, so you wouldn’t get all wet with cold water once you switch it on. Quiet.

We were a bit disappointed by the service in the restaurant (Bistro Abode). We went there on our first night for a cocktail/drink and we were made to feel unwelcome, as though we were disturbing the one member of staff on duty. Maybe we were as there were no other customers. Unsurprisingly, we did not return in the evenings. Breakfast was better but somehow the bistro staff seemed to lack the ability to be really welcoming and friendly.

The building has been well restored retaining many original features. There is a sense of history and confidence. The room was spacious and comfortable. The reception staff were helpful. The location is excellent, a short walk from Piccadilly Gardens and the main shopping areas.

Rooms very tired with little to no effort applied to disguising dirty marks throughout. Kettle, coffee machine and Bluetooth speaker all unplugged with no identification as to what was what. No fridge, there was cartons of water on the shelf but who wants to drink room temperature water, was informed on check out that only suites have fridges. No indication as to whether snacks etc were complimentary or not. The coat hangers in the wardrobe are fixed in making it difficult to hang things up, I struggled to reach so how shorter people manage I’m not sure.

Fabulous breakfast with tasty quality ingredients. Friendly check in staff. Nice reception area and beautiful original tiling on staircase and entrance lobby. Some nice features in room.

A bit of a weird smell in the wardrobe and the snack bar was not filled with the items on the list so made sure to check that this was the case to make sure I wouldnt get charged for items I didnt use. TV controller was quite unclean. Quite noisy, could hear hallway noise clearly on floor 3.

Bed size, bathroom size, room size, desk size.

In our first room the aircon didn’t work and neither did the tv remote (I know who watches tv away, but my partner pops the tv on while I get ready), but we told reception and he was so lovely and tried to initially reset the aircon, but unfortunately it didn’t work and the room was so hot! We were offered to move rooms which we did, and it was perfect. Had a couple of instances where our key card wouldn’t work but again it was sorted swiftly by staff.

The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was a really good size, the bed was really comfy and it was huge! The bathroom facility’s were excellent. We had a couple of situations that needed sorting out and the staff were very accommodating and so helpful.

I feel that I paid for a superior room and ended up with a pretty standard one that fell on par with hotels I’ve stayed in the past if not bellow them which weren’t “superior”. I feel like the room was very hot and there were a few things I would’ve expected for the price I paid, such as a mini fridge in the room, as our drinks were always quite warm, and updated television, etc. I personally wouldn’t pay for breakfast again if I were to stay as u felt there was not variety that necessarily met the tastes of some of us, especially with so many options near by.

The staff were amazing, particularly the man on nightshift on the night of the 7th. I felt very safe in the hotel with people constantly on desk and the doors being locked and named after a certain time. We loved the location and the rooms were clean and tidy on arrival. Breakfast was well cooked and any mistakes made during this time were quickly rectified. The room was really quiet also despite being quite central.

Breakfast was a bit of a higgldy piggldy affair (things not available on the menu, coffee not available, wrong order bought out)HOWEVER, the staff were incredibly polite and professional and rectified the issues we experienced well so we did have a nice breakfast in the end. I'm just glad we weren't in a rush 😆

Nice room, spacious enough and clean and modern. No street noise (we were on the 4th floor at the back) Great shower. Proper lights in the room! None of these one spotlight in the corridor then wall lights, there was an actual light fitting over the bed. So much brighter (and it had a dimmer switch)
