I don't drink coffee, tea or fruit juices due to a health condition. I had to pay an extra £21 in total for 4 cups of hot chocolate with soya milk at breakfast, hence the 8/10 overall grade.

Everything was exactly as was described in the promotional material. Staff were friendly and engaging Breakfast was lovely too.

No air conditioning in rooms, but staff quickly provided a fan when requested. American Express not accepted.

Hotel fully refurbished, rooms fresh, modern and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, USB charging points, tea and coffee facilities. Nice quality shower gel and shampoo provided. All staff very friendly, proactive and helpful. Large, pleasant breakfast room serving both continental buffet and table service hot breakfast. Super location on seafront close to theatres and restaurants. Hotel can provide parking vouchers for a small charge allowing parking in nearby designated zones. Look forward to staying again.

1. The shower water pressure and the cold tap pressure in the hand basin were insufficient. 2. Breakfast was good but some fruit salad would be a good addition. A chair in our bedroom is needed. Room 305.

Small room with no aircon. Breakfast fairly basic with ca. one hour window. Check out by 10am on early side. Expensive for what it is.

The hotel has been beautifully refurbished , and our room was lovely overlooking the sea . Staff are charming and of course the location for the restaurants, Towner Gallery and the tennis is perfect ! Breakfast fine if bit expensive

Exceptionally hot weekend. Room incredibly hot. Beautiful old hotel which obviously had no air-con but it would have been good just to had a fan in the room.

we got the last room available and it was on the top floor. the room was very clean and comfortable but water pressure very low in shower and room was hot but the girls kindly got me a fan which was a god send . breakfast wasn’t great .

Had a sea view which was lovely, but very hot in room and had to leave windows open overnight. Quite noisy outside so didn’t get much sleep. Would suggest fans in the room if possible?

It would be great to include a safety handrail in the shower area, also would be good to have wheelchair access.

The staff were very well presented in their uniforms. the bar area was very nice and comfortable.
