Peaceful, gorgeous little chalet we always feel at home so far from home!

I liked the location for it being secluded but as I was there for work it was a bit of a drive to Oban. No shops nearby other than a small convenience store. But all the big shops and supermarkets are available in Oban (Tesco, M&S, Lidl, Aldi). I travelled with my 9 year old daughter and she particular liked the whirlpool bathtub.

Cabins well spaced from one another. Situation was beautiful and peaceful. Welcomed our dogs. Manager - very accessible and friendly Comfortable cabin Great range of information on where to go and things to do including local maps and walking books.

Truly picturesque location close to Loch Awe and other beautiful sites in Argyll&Bute. Houses are comfortable and at a good distance from one another, so you feel like you have the place just for yourself. Hosts are really amazing: helpful, friendly and taking good care of the place. Definitely a place to come back to in the future!

There was nothing bad I could say about this place. The people running that place are helpful and kind; if something is wrong, they are always happy to help!

Brilliant time in a brilliant place. This was the place we were looking for. Kind service, house was clean and cosy, the location was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. This is a perfect base for anyone who loves mountains and nature.

Truly great cottage, small but very complete, good beds, well equipped kitchen and the place has a very warm, welcoming feeling. Taynuilt itself is small, but the town Oban is 20 minutes away and has plenty of restaurants/shops if that is what you look for. Nice walks, but for more challenging hikes you need to drive a bit.

Clothes washing machine was shared and little away from the lodge, preferably to have washing machine with or without dryer in each lodge. WIFI connection was not that good inside the rooms and I believe booster for wifi inside the lodge will be good.

The host is genuinely concerned with her guests. Being a bit delayed she called us to check for our arrival. When we arrived she had a 'welcome snack' available. When leaving it appeared that a pair trousers of one of the children was left behind. The host contacted us and has even sent it to our home. Besides the lovely host, the place has stunning views and is very quiet. Lot of things to visit and to do on a relative small distance. Kids loved to do the escape room in Invararay.

We have absolutely no complaints or issues. We very much look forward to returning should we get the opportunity.

The location is beautiful and the chalet itself is very nice. Inside is modern, clean and very comfortable. We were welcomed with warm fresh baked apple muffins which we all agreed was a very special and generous way to be greeted by our host.

More places to walk the dog without being on the boggy grass but that might be due to bad weather.

The lodge was comfy and had two bathrooms.
