We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

AustraliaMy wife had tomatoe soup at dinner which we think should be a safe meal for a fussy person. Unfortunately chefs version of tomatoes soup was way too spicy & she couldn't eat it.
Breakfast was very nice & reasonably priced. Had Hagis for the first time at dinner & absolutely enjoyed it.

United KingdomVery clean and tidy and efficient service - reminded me of the famous "crossroads motel" - the lady at the desk was very positive and up building when we had a message that our train was cancelled - She said there was one every hour to Edinburgh and she was not only right but motivated us to get to the station and not give up - thankyou As I was unwell and still recovering from a summer cold I really appreciated her positive attitude to help me to get going and even made sure we knew the way to the station

This is the second time I have stayed for business and would highly recommend the Abbotsford Hotel to anyone travelling. Lovely touch in the room with a Tunnocks tea cake and caramel log to have with tea or coffee. Sea Kelp soap and shower gel were also really nice.

United KingdomDecor is tired especially in bedrooms . It’s all in a 70s time warp . Although standards of cleanliness are on the whole high, shower room let it down somewhat ..( dusty floor and shower trap needed attention ) .
Friendly and helpful staff . Convenient location for heading to Argyll . Good parking . Great meal with good vegetarian options. Nice shower room with lovely white towels . Really comfortable bed . I do not usually sleep in hotels so this was exceptional .
