Paid for a parking space and whilst I parked infront of the house it wasn't a designated parking bay so I was unsure if it was OK.

I didn't have any breakfast, just a coffee. The host were very friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean, bathroom nice. Was allowed and encouraged to use the lounge and kitchen as I wished. Key safe self check in easy to use.

Private bathroom wasn't ensuite and i needed to leave my room to get to the bathroom. Probably my fault for not reading in depth!

We only stayed here overnight on our way to Devon. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfy. Also safe off road parking. It is within easy walking distance of Bristol Parkway - trains take about 15 mins. and we went in for the evening though the local pub is very nice. Communiactions with our hosts was excellent.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. It was possible to keep some items in the fridge and use the kitchen for cooking, making breakfast etc. Bedroom was good and nice private bathroom. Friendly cats!

I’d have preferred it if blackout lining had been used in the Roman blind, which let too much light through for my liking, but that’s a minor quibble. I only marked down the cleanliness a point as the bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied, but otherwise everything was spotless.

The host is very welcoming and helpful. The lounge is beautifully appointed and comfortable. The bed has a reasonably firm mattress, which suited me. The bedding was fresh and cosy. Everything is provided, including dressing gowns. The bathroom is just across the hall, with an oval corner bath, with shower over. The proximity of the property to the railway station is excellent. It is also convenient to the M32 / M4 junction.

The location was good -short walk to a pub meal which was very good…. Loved the bedroom - great colour scheme, fresh & clean …. Beverages provided. Heating & hot water great.

It was an amazing 10 days! Julian and Ruth are wonderful people, attentive and friendly, who helped us in everything. We thank them for communication and warm relations. We became good friends. We also made friends with cats))) The living conditions are as in the pictures and in the description, the room is warm and cozy, the bed is comfortable, there is a kettle in the room. Convenient location near the railway station. Great accommodation, highly recommended!

Nothing not to like just but possibly my lack of knowledge of what a home stay means was that the room was actually in the home and the hosts were in a room across the hall from us. Not what we were expecting but hosts so friendly and welcoming it and it was for one night so not an issue but if staying longer would not have suited us.

Couldn't have had better hosts, very attentive and friendly. They were very welcoming and the place was very clean and tidy. Could not fault the accommodation at all - everything catered for.

There could have been more allocation space for clothes as there own clothes were still in wardrobes and drawers. I feel some space could have been allocated. Add needed to say there were cats in the house due to allergies.

Tea and coffee-making facilities in the room would have been brilliant - although the host was happy for me to make tea in the family kitchen and share fridge-space.

Cosy, comfortable and quiet room. Welcoming host. Spotless shared bathroom. Bathrobe was a nice touch.
