We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomCeiling fans didn't work, one fan was provided and we luckily brought our own. More cooking utensils ( fish slice) No tea towels provided.
The location of the property to the beach and shops was great. Property was very modern and clean with nice outdoor space which was bigger than expected. The property was also in a nice quiet area and parking was available on the drive. Owners very responsive to queries and gave us an earlier check in as requested. We would recommend and we will visit again.

United KingdomGenuinely, the only criticism from any of us was the wardrobe in the main bedroom is really deep and literally in front of you as soon as you open the door. One of our group laughably managed to get stuck while trying to exit the room because the door needs to be fully open to enter and exit. Not really an issue if you are a smaller person, but it certainly provided us with a few laughs!
Absolutely fantastic time staying at A Pebbles Throw. I actually accidentally met Helen and Mark through arriving earlier in the day, they were lovely and really helpful. They left a very useful information folder and the house already had some essentials (and more) left for us to use. The house was a really good size for 5 adults, beds were comfortable and the garden was lovely. The kitchen was very impressive and a delight to be in. The house in general had a very homely feel, with lots of interesting pictures around and ornaments and bits everywhere. The driveway actually fits 3 cars (a relative came to visit while we were there) and the location is literally a five minute walk away from the beach and town. Everything here was perfect for us, we were all very happy and at separate times all said that we would stay in this house again.

United KingdomAggressive neighbours put a dampener on the holiday, but that is beyond the control of the owner. Anyone staying should ensure that all cars are parked on the driveway. Genuinely, the property is superb and we felt truly at home.
The house is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and in a great location. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay with family from 12 month old to 64 year old and everything in between!

Location was perfect - a short walk to a beautiful beach, and the facilities in town. Plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from, and an ideal base to explore North Devon. House clean, comfortable and beautifully presented with every imaginable convenience - even towels, soap and toilet rolls! A bluetooth speaker and smart TVs in every room met with the approval of my children.
