My bedroom is good and happy with the bed it is quite comfty. i am happy with the location as it is not far from the city centre and the beach. Good location for shopping, the bonus that they actually opened the kitchen for self-service which is very good,

Our room directly faced the nightclub outside, with the smoking area and queue right outside the window. Obviously not much to be done about this but my suggestion would be take ear plugs!! Only other downside was that as checkout was stated as 10am I paid for late checkout but turns out on Sunday checkout is 11am so we didn't need to use it.

For the money the hotel was incredible value. Great location, luggage storage while we waited, suprisingly comfy bed. The room was really large and the bathroom and bedroom both absolutely spotless we were impressed.

The building is old. The door lock didn’t work in my room, either the air conditioner. There was also a lot of noise at night (people partying and screaming from the street). The hostel also lacked activities to meet new people.

The location was the best, it is a few steps away from the beach and the pier and you can catch a bus very easily. The bed was very comfy and everything was clean. The staff was super nice! I would definitely stay here again:)

Excellent check-in. Saw it was my birthday on my id and wished me a happy birthday. Information provided about services was spot on. Room more than adequate. Great night's sleep. Great service from all the staff. I will definitely stay here again. Such great value for money.

Bathroom had a bath/shower setup. Faucets were just at top of bath not mid way up to shower head? Bath did not have a non-slip surface or grip bath mat? This is serious accident waiting to happen!!!! There fire did not use the bath or shower. Portable heater was on the shared room but did not work. Windows did not open for fresh air?!

The windows are old and the noise from people outside the clubs is annoying late at night. They also give your bed sheets at reception when checking in and you need to put them onto your bed which is awkward and not nice for the guests. The breakfast is overly expensive at 11GBP

Shared a room with 4 other men in a 6 bed dorm, as the only female would have been nice to have a better ratio of genders. Not the hostels fault but lots of snoring, barely slept so bring earplugs

It was a bit noisy at night. We could hear kids chatting till the early hours and whoever was in the room above was moving about a lot and we could hear the floor boards creaking. That said we would stay here again.

The staff are super friendly and the property is in a good position for a stay in Brighton. The room was clean and comfortable.

The hostel was value for money. It was in a really convenient location to the bars, beachfront and the Lanes. Room was basic but it met what we needed; we were there for a one night stay as we were in Brighton to enjoy the night life and shopping. The room was very warm and did let in noise from the hallway. Overall, a wonderful one night stay. Very cheap and cheerful accommodation. Late check out was available at 12 noon -also very affordable; always check with the reception staff.

The bathtub was filled with an orange substance that we were told was enamel but it didn't look like it.

no kettle in the room, was my only gripe. but there was a kitchen downstairs where we could make tea.

pleasantly surprised by this. we had a private room, with en suite. The room was very large and had a view of the sea, and of brighton pier. the hotel was very close to the seafront, and there were also lots of cafes and shops nearby.
