Communication on day of arrival was quite lacklustre but was eventually resolved. Floor lamps in the lounge weren’t working (which was a pain) and the noise from the street was quite loud at times (but understandable due to central location) might be worth thinking about how you could alleviate it. Steps up to the flat are very steep so anyone with mobility issues should be careful.

This flat was brilliant. Excellent location in the centre of Oban, close to restaurants and pubs. Large comfortable living space with large TV. Well laid out and equipped kitchen area. 2 large comfortable bedrooms and a spacious bathroom/wet room. Whole place was spotlessly clean.

The location of this place is perfect to get to everything and parking was easy! The washing machine took a long time to wash, and no dryer but this wasn't really a big deal. It was very clean and the king size beds in each room were perfect!

Parking was not the easiest. We tried to park at the TESO nearby which would have been perfect for us, but we were not able to make the app work to accept payment. We even tried multiple devices and multiple payment types. I suspect that maybe it was because we didn’t have a Scottish phone number to enter, but that is just a guess. In the end, I’m really not certain why it wouldn’t accept our payment. We ended up having to park a bit further away which was inconvenient, but not the end of the world. The lighting in the back bedroom was very dark. Since there is only one bathroom, it would be nice to be able to use the provided vanity table to get ready. I tried moving a lamp from the living room, but it had a different type of plug.

Location was great. Beds were very comfortable and apartment was clean. The bathroom was very large and had plenty of space for our party if 4 to use without having to carry our toiletries into and out of the room each time. Roxy’s cafe downstairs was perfect for breakfast.

Parking in Oban is a nightmare: wise to get into long-stay parking on arrival. You can stay up to 3 hours in the Tesco car park.

Absolutely no negative whatsoever One item that perhaps could have been mentioned was there is no long stay car parking in Oban. We found long stay parking at Tesco through the Just Park App - that was lucky though. We hadn’t realised there weren’t car parks.
