A lovely connected annexe unit set outside Truro. Good access to main roads and towns. Very welcoming hosts - we felt very much looked after.

The cottage was very comfortable and cosy. The fruit, bread, milk and cider in arrival was very welcome. Ideal location for beaches and exploring.

This suite of rooms was fabulous. A roomy bathroom with a large shower, two extremely comfortable bedrooms and a welcome pack of basic necessities that were good quality. The kitchenette was workable and Liz stocked the fridge with butter, milk, jams and several chocolatey goodies (which my husband devoured!!) A great base from which to explore the southern part of Cornwall. Liz was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We ate breakfast outside so did not need to use the table inside. It is a quirky suite … but very a luxurious set of rooms.

There is nothing that we didn’t like.

We are just about to leave this charming Annexe having stayed for 5 days. The owner Liz went above and beyond expectations to makes us feel welcome and comfortable! The Annexe is gorgeously done and our 13 years old girl loved her room! We also were very pleasantly surprised by all the extra goodies Liz very kindly left for us - more than enough for breakfast and snacks! Even our dog had his own fluffy blanket! Everything was perfect! Highly recommend and we are definitely planning to return again next summer! Thank you Liz for your generosity and hospitality!

The “continental breakfast” rather glamourises the offer and visitors with mobility issues need to be aware that access to the shower over the bath, may be tricky. I’ll say again though, you really can’t argue based on the price.

We didn’t struggle to find the property as Liz sent very clear instructions. We were upgraded to the Piggery, which is a 2 bedroom detached cottage. It has enough space make your home so was very comfortable and a good base from where to explore Cornwall. We had a few welcome treats left by Liz who checked in from her holiday to make sure we were OK. Extraordinary value for money

Liz is a great Host and we were upgraded into the cottage. Our stay was enjoyable, having space to sit outside in the evening sun was an extra bonus. Parking was easy.

Everything was perfect I did not dislike anything

Arrived at property and was greeted by the owner , she was so friendly she showed us around the property it was beautiful very clean and the decor was amazing it was very quiet and also had a lovely garden. Oh and the beds so comfy you could spend all day in them, Liz had left us a welcome basket with all the essentials you need there a lovely views out the back and a parking space with is undercover, I wished we had booked a week it was like home from home but even better it was a magical weekend would definitely book again. Believe me when I say the picture on line does not do it justice its perfect in every way if you want a relaxing quiet time away. Lots of places to visit nearby shops are close and a lovely pub with restaurant that does amazing food Definitely the best weekend I have ever had and would recommend to everyone I know, I can't praise it enough.

we loved the way the cottage was furnished and decorated and the thoughtful welcome pack and also the comfy beds. plus how clean it was.

This cottage was very beautiful, it was in a very good quiet location. we were upgraded due to the kindness of Liz the owner. we slept very well because of the quality beds. Liz left a very thoughtful welcome pack with some very useful items in. The cottage was very good value for the luxury you get, much better value than a lot of rentals. We enjoyed our stay although we were there for a funeral, it was very relaxing to stay in the cottage. we look forward to staying there again in the future.

The communication was outstanding, allowing flexibility because of a long journey. The property has a high standard of fittings and was very comfortable. It lived up to its billing as luxury bedrooms.

1) Shower was slow to heat up the water - not much of an issue in the summer. 2) Direction to the cottage is a bit confusing for the first time as the signboard is small but we managed as it was still daylight when we arrived. I think we would have struggled had it been at night.

I booked the Annexe but the lovely host upgraded us to the Piggery cottage which was superb! The cottage was spacious, very clean, well equipped, warm and cozy. It has 2 bedrooms (beds were very comfortable & lush), beautiful and modern bathroom, well equipped kitchen and lovely living & dining area. The host also provided breakfast items such as milk, bread, fresh eggs, fruits, cereals, salt, pepper, etc. It has a good size garden at the back and a big parking area at the front. It's pet friendly too. I would definitely book again in the future. Many thanks, Liz!

We were upgraded from the Annex to the Piggery which is a lovely cottage with plenty of space with a kitchen and lounge. I am sure the Annex would have been just as sweet. The kitchen was stocked with a few breakfast things and tea and coffee which was nice as we arrived very late.

Coming from overseas we found it difficult to find location. From main road lane looked like a person's driveway. Hostess got us sorted 😃

The accommodation had a comfortable bed with clean bedding. The advertisement stated a quiet, isolated area of Cornwall and they were true to their word. I felt that it was good value for money in a very quiet spot.

It would have been good to have a brush and dustpan with a brush as we had gone with dog. A toilet brush would have been an advantage !!

We loved the location and the bed which felt like getting onto a cloud every night.

Unable to put heating on as we were cold after first day out and unfortunately no hot water either. It was late so didn't want to disturb Liz. However, when we did message Liz in morning it was dealt with promptly so a nice hot bath was enjoyed by all the following night.

Liz was kind enough to offer us the cottage next door as it was available. So this review is based on the cottage and not the Annexe. The cottage was immaculately clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. Little touches like flowers and snacks were nice. Breakfast was a basket filled with fruit, bread and eggs from her own chickens and a choice of cereals was also offered, and butter and jams left in the fridge. So much thought had gone into making it nice and the decor was lovely.

Liz was an excellent host, super friendly and has thought of everything to ensure a comfy stay. The decor and soft furnishings in the property have been so tastefully completed, Liz clearly has put a lot of thought and effort into this. We actually ended up staying in Paddock View next door as it was available so I can’t really compare the 2 however Im sure other than the size the comfort and extra touches would be equally as good. The breakfast was lovely fresh bread, jams, marmalade, couple cereal options and some fresh eggs.
